Monday, January 19, 2009. Sibling love, courtesy of the library! Last week I took Chloe and Carver to our new and improved Running Springs library! It's just beautiful. We have a way bigger building which means a lot more new books, new computers, 2 new kiddo computers complete with cute little mice and a really cool self check out station! Chloe just loves her new library, she still has a little trouble keeping quiet but it's OK since the kids have their very own section now! Monday, January 12, 2009.

Friday, February 4, 2011. Well here we are.February! What a " Wintry. Welcome" we've received Today is our 4 th. Day off of work. I know you are all thinking "Snow Days." But you are wrong.school has been cancelled due to ICE! Our entire backyard, side yard, front yard and streets are coated in ice/sleet! It was raining ice pellets! This is our driveway and Ryan's attempt to chip away at 3-4" of ice. Nope, these are ice chunks Ryan threw on our front yard after clearing our driveway. Ice on the gutters.

Monday, January 4, 2010. Baby, it's cold outside! We spent the weekend in Big Bear with Jeff, Kristine and the boys. Like always the kids had a great time together. We even got Easton to ride down the BIG hill on the tobogan! Only once. He said, "It was scary but a little bit fun." Here's a few of our favorite pics. Sledsfun for the kids and the kids at heart! My two favorite boys. Baby on my hip and one in my belly :). He was equally horrified when the boys started eating the snow! Links to this post.

Two weeks before Christmas we got 4 inches of snow in Redding. the cool part is it actually stuck around for a few days. We had fun in it and so did Bails! Just a note if you have wood with knots you are painting you have to get a special paint to prime them or else they will show through even after 2 coats ;). In Faith and Frosting. I decided to do craft gifts this season because it's fun.and also within the budget. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. We made 4th of July themed slime this week. Braysen always loves to help make it (and play with it). This was the first time the girls got to play with the slime. This time we used a different recipe. I stumbled across a recipe that used starch instead of Borax. Using starch instead of Borax eliminated one step in the process, so we decided to test out the starch recipe. 1/2 cup clear glue. 1/2 cup liquid starch. Mix the water and the glue. Pour the starch into a separate bowl.
