being kate: An Algerian kitchen...

http://newrhythms-kate.blogspot.com/2013/04/an-algerian-kitchen.html

Tuesday, 23 April 2013. Is what I have to play in, nothing fancy. just a typically old fashioned un-modernised Algerian kitchen. I have a cooker, a fridge and a sink. No cupboards, no units, and one ramshackle little work surface. And it's okay, at the moment, it's what we have and we work with it. What can't be achieved in the way of rolling, kneading and prepping in this small, unequipped space, gets done at the dinner table or on the small table we sometimes use to eat from. The premise of Shakshoukha...

Sunny Corduroy Corner: Catching up!

http://corduroycorner.blogspot.com/2012/06/catching-up.html

Welcome to Sunny Corduroy Corner. We are two mums, each with three kids, who love to sew, create and see kids in quality clothes that are funky and made for fun. We even started our very own clothing range called Corduroy Corner. This blog is to record our journey as mums who create- so we can record all our ups and (hopefully not too many) downs! We hope you like our tales and thanks again for stopping by-. Tuesday, June 19, 2012. For those of you who are not aware the Liebster Award requires you to:.

Ordinary Eco: February 2012

http://ordinaryeco.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

Great things grow in small spaces. Thursday, February 2, 2012. I was so excited to find the new video for Earth Hour. It is one of my favourite times of year and I love the connection with the rest of world. Earth Hour asks one small thing, turn off your lights from 8.30 to 9.30pm on Saturday March 31st 2012. We usually go further and turn all our power off but that is our personal choice. So spread the word, we have time to let everyone know. This is one small thing that we all can do to show the wor...

Ordinary Eco: March 2011

http://ordinaryeco.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Great things grow in small spaces. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. I have followed the garden adventures of the Dervaes family. For over a year now. They are an amazing inspiration when it comes to Urban Homesteading. One of their most fascinating plants is the Tromboncino Squash (Cucurbita moschata). They grow them on a pegola and they hang like swan necked bells. After happily finding the seeds at Diggers. I set to work growing my own. I watched with anticipation as the first flowers. Cheeky Charli and me: October 2012

http://cheekycharliandme.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html

Saturday, October 27, 2012. Posted by Clare Kennedy. Lately I have been getting a bit down in the dumps. And I know its a result of a lot of things - not being able to find somewhere to live, not exercising enough, cold weather, sick lil lady etc etc. Some times I need a little reminder to look after myself, as do a lot of people I'm sure. A quick post on some 'stress less' management will make it just a click away when I find myself needing that little reminder. 1 Focus more on things you CAN control.
