Row 1: Dc in 5th ch from hook, dc in next ch sp, crossing over last two dc’s dc in ch sp before first dc (forming a cross), [skip 1 ch sp and dc in next 2 ch sp, dc in skipped ch sp] repeat between 13 times, dc in last ch sp. Rows 2-16: Turn, ch 3, [sk next dc and dc in next 2 dc, dc in skipped dc] repeat between 15 times, dc in last st. Row 17: Turn, ch 3, dc across.
