the Mailman Family blog: Finally . . . an update
http://themailmanfamily.blogspot.com/2009/06/finally-update.html
The Mailman Family blog. Saturday, June 13, 2009. Finally . . . an update. I know it's been awhile - time just seems to go so fast these days - not enough hours to get everything done! So, what's new? We moved Brenton to Halifax on May 26th and he is busy looking for work and setting up his great bachelor apartment - prime location on Spring Garden Road! He'll be home next week for graduation and Prom - where did those years go? Seems like just yesterday we were at Jason's highschool graduation. My husba...

the Mailman Family blog: Goats for sale!
http://themailmanfamily.blogspot.com/2009/11/goats-for-sale.html
The Mailman Family blog. Monday, November 02, 2009. Anyone interested in two female pygmy goats for sale? Funny story, we are putting Clementine and Willow on Kijiji and, since we don't know how to resize pictures, this seems the easiest way, since Blogger resizes for you. This is what we have become since Brenton moved to Halifax. He tries to help us by phone but we are quite inept and he is all Mac now, so it seems this might be the easiest way for us. Do the goats come with recipes?

the Mailman Family blog: What kind of bird is this?
http://themailmanfamily.blogspot.com/2009/08/what-kind-of-bird-is-this.html
The Mailman Family blog. Saturday, August 08, 2009. What kind of bird is this? I know, it's been forever since I've updated my blog; however, I LOVE FACEBOOK! So fast, so easy! Anyway, we are having a great summer - full every night since July 5th - yeah! We have good staff and everything is going really well - I should knock on wood or something, right? This is our first summer as 'empty nesters' - Brenton is enjoying his apartment and Halifax and his job at Golf Town - Thanks big brother Jay! So, I gue...

the Mailman Family blog: September 2009
http://themailmanfamily.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
The Mailman Family blog. Saturday, September 26, 2009. It's hard to believe that summer is now officially over and we are enjoying some fabulous fall weather - sunny, cool days and crisp nights - Gary make our first fire of the season last night and, I must say, it felt pretty good! We have our 6 1/2 cords of wood tucked away so we should be nice and warm, no matter what the winter brings - ugh! This hornet nest was found next door to us in Upper Clements Park's apple orchard. It's huge! In other news, B...

Brown Family Happenings: June 2015
http://goghbirth.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
An online photo album for our relatives north of the border. 30 June, 2015. Here are some pictures from last Tuesday. My parents were still here and after swimming, we headed downtown to get some lunch and visit the dinosaurs. Had to park at the top. Walking towards lunch. Or is that running, Floyd? Floyd started out with everyone else but soon left them all behind. Everyone else slowly making their way through the museum. An Allosaurus is biting Nova's head off! Posted by Rachel Slote-Brown. While Floyd...

Brown Family Happenings: November 2014
http://goghbirth.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
An online photo album for our relatives north of the border. 30 November, 2014. I've been wanting to get us the game Pictionary for several years now. Brand new, it's pretty expensive but when I found it a thrift store a couple weeks ago I couldn't resist. It was the second edition of the game but a bonus for us was that it came with the cards from edition 2 and edition 1. Not bad for $2. Above you can see our biggest problem in playing - Floyd. Floyd trying to help. Picking a card for his turn? His was ...

Brown Family Happenings: January 2015
http://goghbirth.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
An online photo album for our relatives north of the border. 31 January, 2015. On Thursday, Floyd found a chunk of snow on our way to get Nova after school. He carried it to school and then all the way home. When we decided to stay outside and play for a bit, he kept holding onto it. We ended up putting it in the freezer so he could show Joseph. Above he is proudly showing off his "rock" of snow. He even took it on a toboggan ride. It had to go on a walk, too. Posted by Rachel Slote-Brown. His shovel....

Brown Family Happenings: March 2015
http://goghbirth.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
An online photo album for our relatives north of the border. 30 March, 2015. We went to the library Saturday instead of spending hours in the house waiting for the plumbers (and to use their bathroom). Floyd made an interesting zoo. Pigs, cows and seals roamed with dinosaurs, right? Sunday was the annual student art walk downtown. Last year Nova had a piece of work on display and this year it was Calliope's turn. It's a hummingbird. Posted by Rachel Slote-Brown. 25 March, 2015. And anything that comes wi...
