Macgellan: Happy: Reunion With Rose!
http://macgellan.blogspot.com/2014/11/happy-reunion-with-rose.html
Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Happy: Reunion With Rose! 8230; I'm always Happy. Today I'm happy because I had a reunion with Rose! Macgellan and I were driving around today when he said, "I've got a surprise for you Happy dog! The next thing I know, we've pulled into my favorite dog park and I'm muzzle to muzzle with Rose, my old pack mate and doghouse neighbor at SP Kennel. It was great to have a reunion with Rose today, and I hope we visit each other again soon! Labels: Happy The Sled Dog. May - August...

Macgellan: Haul Road - Prudhoe Bay
http://macgellan.blogspot.com/2010/06/haul-road-prudhoe-bay.html
Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Haul Road - Prudhoe Bay. If you're going to drive to Prudhoe Bay, "just getting there" had better be the only reward you seek, because there's not much else there to see or do. As you enter the area, you are greeted by immense compounds of machinery and equipment. This is, after all, really nothing but a working oil field, and they've got all. The stuff there for it. Has gotten me into! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The World Of Macgellan. Happy The Sled Dog. Sled dogs of SP...

Macgellan: Kentucky Snow Bound!
http://macgellan.blogspot.com/2015/02/kentucky-snow-bound.html
Tuesday, February 17, 2015. It was a bit of a grind, but Happy and I made the two-week transit from Seattle to Kentucky in good order. Heading south through California before heading east turned out to be a good plan. The weather held up quite well except for a few days of challenging cross-winds on the interstate, and we even got to enjoy some temps in the 70s along the southern portion of our drive. Glad you had a safe trip Mac. I bet Happy did her happy dance when she saw all that snow to play in.

Macgellan: Happy: My Fan In Malta, Montana!
http://macgellan.blogspot.com/2014/09/happy-my-fan-in-malta-montana.html
Saturday, September 13, 2014. Happy: My Fan In Malta, Montana! I'm Happy. I'm always Happy. Today I'm happy because I got pictures from a fan! You may recall that I had a not-so-happy time when Macgellan and I were in Malta, MT, over the Fourth of July, because I really, really, really don't like fireworks! A good thing about our time there was that I got to meet Willa and we became the best of friends! It was so nice of her to send me these photos, showing how she loved me and I loved her right back!

Macgellan: Happy: Rumpus Room!
http://macgellan.blogspot.com/2014/09/happy-rumpus-room.html
Sunday, September 28, 2014. 8230; I'm always Happy. Today I'm happy about "Rumpus Room"! One of the best things about where Macgellan and I are living these days is that my young friend Luke lives right down the street! Luke is an Australian Shepherd pup, and he's my BFF! Almost every day - sometimes twice a day! We visit each other. While our bosses have coffee, Luke and I have tons of fun together in a little things we call "Rumpus Room.". Macgellan: US Hwy 70: Durant, OK!
http://macgellan.blogspot.com/2014/05/us-hwy-70-durant-ok.html
Wednesday, May 21, 2014. US Hwy 70: Durant, OK! I took advantage of the cool morning to give Happy a thorough walkabout, knowing full well that she would spend most of the day laying around in either the air conditioned truck or in the shade under my camper. We then went to the local Ford dealer where my truck got a routine service and Happy got ample attention from everyone in the shop. She sure can turn on the charm when she wants to! I stopped to check it out but was given a pretty clear brush-off, su...

Macgellan: US Hwy 20: "The Longest Road" Preview
http://macgellan.blogspot.com/2013/03/us-hwy-20-longest-road-preview.html
Thursday, March 28, 2013. US Hwy 20: "The Longest Road" Preview. On Monday morning, Happy and I will be pulling out of our "winter camp" in Anacortes, WA, to begin our migration to "summer camp" on the east coast. For our route, we've selected US Highway 20, another of the classic trans-continental roads. Spanning 3,365 miles, it is recognized as the longest road in the United States. Macgellan: Introducing The Camper Sled
http://macgellan.blogspot.com/2011/07/introducing-camper-sled.html
Friday, July 29, 2011. Introducing The Camper Sled. I've decided that it's time to hit the road again, on what I expect will be a very long-distance road trip. I'll post some details about that soon, but for now just want to show you yet another modification I've done to my "Road Rig.". Also, because there's nothing easier than a truck camper for getting in and out of camping spaces, it's about as simple and efficient as it gets! I was thinking about this in terms of my upcoming long-distance, long-term ...

Macgellan: VoM2: Aboard The Rickmers Shanghai... Finally!
http://macgellan.blogspot.com/2011/02/vom2-aboard-rickmers-shanghai-finally.html
Wednesday, February 02, 2011. VoM2: Aboard The Rickmers Shanghai. Finally! Finally on board and checking out the ship! So far I’ve found the bridge and my cabin: Everything you need, not much you don’t… Bed, desk, sofa, table, closet, bathroom… Perfect! As you can see, there is nothing going on around here. I just met the captain, whose first words were, “I wish I could say when we go! So, I’ve got coffee and will settle in… Stay tuned! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The World Of Macgellan. Macgellan: AlCan: Eight Day Road Trip from Seattle to Fairbanks
http://macgellan.blogspot.com/p/alcan-eight-day-road-trip-from-seattle.html
AlCan: Eight Day Road Trip from Seattle to Fairbanks. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2009. AlCan: Day 1 - Seattle, WA to Hope, BC. After a couple of hours on the road, I pulled up to the border crossing in Sumas, WA, honestly expecting a swift clearance to continue on my way. That's not quite how it worked out, however, as the Canadian immigration officials seemed to be more than a little perplexed about what a guy was doing driving a truck and camper through their country to Alaska in winter. I got a pretty earl...
