Maclaren Noelle: Officially Walking

Sunday, September 14, 2008. Maclaren took her first steps in July, but she hadn't shown much interest in walking since. Until Sept. 4! She celebrated my birthday by walking and hasn't stopped since. She still has a hard time with more than 7 or 8 steps at a time, but she is slowly getting the hang of it. I've yet to get a good video of it, but this will give you the idea. You can hear her excitement in this video. Monday, July 21, 2008. She is also very vocal. Her expanding vocabulary now includes:. Yucca - our favorite and the one that puzzles us the most. We still have no clue where she got it. Dada - her favorite, the word she says the most and usually knows exactly what it means.
