We have visited Alnwick and Alnmouth several times over the years and this is by far the best holiday cottage - very comfortable and cosy. The information provided by Helen and Peter is exemplary. Buster loved Alnmouth beach, possibly his ice-cream helped! Loan End Cottage is a wonderful place to stay- clean and comfortable and so convenient for Alnwick yet really peaceful. Having packed fleeces and anoraks we've had 2 whole weeks of glorious weather in which to enjoy all the area has to offer.".

The High Street (Market Street) is about 5 minutes walk. Turn left at the bottom of the drive and walk down Percy Terrace then Percy Street. Cut through any of the alleys straight ahead continuing downhill. You will come out onto Market Street. There are parking discs in the cottage for free parking in Alnwick, Morpeth and Berwick. Access Statement For Loan End Cottage. Loan End Cottage is part of a Grade 2 listed Georgian house. It is situated up 100m. Of gravel driveway, off a tarmac road half a mile from the centre of Alnwick. Bookings and enquiries can be made directly from the website via email, by telephone or by letter. All guests are provided with a map and written directions to the cottage (available in different font size). The nearest bus stop is the Alnwick Bus Station which is 1/2 a mile away. Especially good for all the Harry Potter fans. They will love the maze, fountains and mini tractors. Great playpark, labyrinth, walks and picnic area. Crazy golf, the Ocean Club swimming pool, The Bunker soft play and fish and chips! Has a great children’s section, a model train running around the tops of the shelves and a good café. Children's pool as well as a regular 25m pool and a climbing/bouldering wall (there are no ropes only low level climbing). Pick your own fruit. Morwick Ice Cream Parlour.
