Friday, 11 October 2013. A bumper year for apples. 2013 has been a brilliant year for the Fruit Harvesting Scheme. We have harvested crates and crates full of surplus fruit from around Oabby and Wigston - it's certainly been a bumper crop! We have been working with various Food Banks to distribute the fruit to people in need, and have been able to help well over 100 families. 17 September 2014 at 02:32. It’s easy to get to the farm by bus, bicycle or car. Buses to the Postwick Park and Ride leave from Norwich Bus Station and Castle Meadow from stand F every 15 minutes. Due to the roadworks around Postwick and the A47, at the moment if you visit the farm by car, you will need to park in the Park and Ride and walk to the farm (only a 1 or 2 minute walk).
