Dispatches from Atlantis: July 2007
http://atlanteanwolf.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
The Wolf's Home on Blogger. 29 July, 2007. A message from the Wolf, with special thanks to Caitlín R. Kiernan for the alert and commentary (not in italics):. This from National Resources Defense Council:. We must stop the Bush Administration's plan to declare open season on the wolves of Greater Yellowstone and central Idaho. Once approved, Wyoming and Idaho intend to begin exterminating up to half their gray wolves — by aerial gunning and other cruel methods — as early as this fall. I strongly oppose yo...

My Crafty Corner: Telekom hotline waiting loop and Telekom technicians that may or may not come= lots of knitting...
http://mabiana.blogspot.com/2015/05/telekom-hotline-waiting-loop-and.html
Saturday, May 2, 2015. Telekom hotline waiting loop and Telekom technicians that may or may not come= lots of knitting. On the 23rd I *finally* got through to someone who gave me an appointment with a techncian for the 27th. During all this I finished knitting the cardigan, which I made from Dibadu Funnies Curly Silk I bought at the Backnanger Wollfest. I started this from "Seidenhase" yarn, bought at the Wollfest, too. My Crafty Corner: November 2014
http://mabiana.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 16, 2014. Finally finished. I am not pleased that the yarn strands turned out so different. Luckily, the different lightning due to bum and belly when wearing seem to hide it a bit. Saturday, November 1, 2014. I haven't made jewelry in a long time, but today I dug out the pliers:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). DO NOT USE MY PHOTOS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! View my complete profile. My Crafty Corner: January 2015
http://mabiana.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 4, 2015. Fluffy coat of moss. Another yarn that has been in my stash for a very long time. I had for some time considered making a skirt and a cardigan out of it, but have been convinced that that would be way too much combined fluffiness around my hips. So, a fluffy coat it became. ;-). Here's a close-up.. I've closed it with a brooch here, but I'll probably mostly wear it open, because it is very, very warm (and also, a bit scratchy). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Crafty Corner: More scrap yarn projects
http://mabiana.blogspot.com/2015/03/more-scrap-yarn-projects.html
Sunday, March 15, 2015. More scrap yarn projects. I have shawls and scarfs in all colours of the rainbow, but noticed I almost exclusively wore a black one all winter, since I was too in a hurry in the morning to find a coloured one going with the rest. Since my coat is also black, that was a bit too bleak for my taste. I thought maybe a black and white one out of scrap yarn would be an alternative, though I have to say it is a bit busy. Pattern, yet again, wingspan. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Parodies Lost: January 2007
http://paulajaneremlinger.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 25, 2007. When Did I Get This Old? But, wow - sometimes I'm astounded by the gulf between my experience and theirs. It doesn't seem that I could possibly be that much older, but apparently I am. 15 years in some cases, I'd bet. (When did that happen? It's an interesting class, although it feels more like a beginning fiction class than an advanced. I suppose once we actually start workshopping that might change, but in the meantime, I'm reading, I'm thinking, and oh yeah, writing! Have a...

Parodies Lost: Back to School!
http://paulajaneremlinger.blogspot.com/2008/08/back-to-school.html
Friday, August 29, 2008. I love the fall, September, the back-to-school time of year. And I'm going back to school. Those of you who know the saga of my M.A. are wondering . why? But, it's Creative Writing, and that makes all the difference in the world. I'm really excited about the courses I'm taking, and I'm looking forward to making a committment to my writing again. Posted by Paula Jane @ 2:20 PM. Sounds great. Going back to school would be great. Hm. Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Amy on the Web.

Parodies Lost: But I was fighting ZOMBIES at the time ...
http://paulajaneremlinger.blogspot.com/2008/11/but-i-was-fighting-zombies-at-time.html
Monday, November 10, 2008. But I was fighting ZOMBIES at the time . I have vague recollections of kicking my husband the other night. Kicking him hard, and having him wake up and say, "Why did you kick me? I was only partially awake myself, and of course my reply was: "It wasn't you. I was fighting zombies.". Oh, yes. That absolutely explains and justifies the nighttime domestic abuse. *G*. Posted by Paula Jane @ 10:36 AM. Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. View my complete profile. Amy on the Web.
