Holy Trinity Long Melford. The Parish of Long Melford is part of the Chadbrook Benefice, named after the Chad brook which runs through all three parishes. The Benefice includes the parishes of Long Melford, Shimpling and Alpheton in an area lying north of the town of Sudbury in Suffolk, England. Services are regularly held in all four of the Benefice churches. Mostly 14th Century although the door by which it is entered may be 13th century. Goes back to the 13th century. The pulpit is Jacobean.

Holy Trinity Long Melford. Every child is a blessing from God and it is a privilege to welcome children into the life of the church community. We hold. Every week during our main 10.30am service (for primary school aged children), except the first Sunday of the month when we have an All-Age. There is a special area at the back of the church with books, toys and colouring activities which can be used during any service. Please note that there is a changing area at the back of the church.
