Lesson learned….don’t make snap decisions as to who will be a friend/enemy. But use the push of competitiveness to take it up a notch! BUT Having someone to run with is awesome! So after a half marathon a 10k and my second 5k I wanted to post some observations/helpful hints for other “fluffy” girls who may be considering training for 5k/10k/half marathon or full marathon. Fluffy runners of the world unite! Monthly Archives: April 2012. The long cold winter. After giving myself 2 weeks to recover I have once again started running, just like I did last year. Starting slow and short with the intent to build myself back up and complete at least a 10k in the first 60 days in San Diego.
