Crown Hill: Crocheted Pom Pom Hat
http://crownhilldaybyday.blogspot.com/2012/10/crocheted-pom-pom-hat.html
Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Crocheted Pom Pom Hat. I made a hat! I used the thickest wool yarn on my shelf and the biggest hook in my satchel. It was simple and quick to make. First, I made a big rectangle, and then sewed the sides and top together. Easy! Then I made a couple of pom poms and stitched them on the corners. It is incredibly warm and cozy! Hope your Wednesday was great! October 31, 2012 at 9:18 PM. November 1, 2012 at 7:05 PM. Thats so fun that you can knit during class. Love it!

Crown Hill: DIY: Magazine Bowl
http://crownhilldaybyday.blogspot.com/2012/05/diy-magazine-bowl.html
Thursday, May 17, 2012. I made this bowl a couple of years ago while Daniel and I were visiting his parents in Michigan. It is made from magazine pages that I picked specifically for their bright colors. I've seen this project on various blogs here and there, but I think Cindy brought it to my attention way back when. We had quite a few lovely crafting days at her house. 1 Cut magazine pages into strips. I think mine were about 2.5 inches thick. 3 Fold up each edge to meet the center crease. May 20, 2012...

We helped paint them along with our moms whose hands you can see on either edge of this photo below:. I'm looking forward to sharing this project! What you will need:. Small bowl filled with sand. Crown Hill: Vegan Squash Cake with Streusel
http://crownhilldaybyday.blogspot.com/2012/11/vegan-squash-cake-with-streusel.html
Saturday, November 3, 2012. Vegan Squash Cake with Streusel. My friend brought me this Yugoslavian finger fruit, and it was the first time I'd ever seen one. It's probably the coolest looking squash I've ever seen. I decided to bake it and make a cake from my Veganomicon cookbook. To bake it, I just cut it in half, scooped out the seeds,. After they had cooled, I scooped out the flesh and it was just enough for the cake recipe I used. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (I used whole wheat). 3 Tbsp brown sugar.

Crown Hill: September 2012
http://crownhilldaybyday.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 27, 2012. Still not in much of a crafting mode these days. I'm still in the thick of orientation at my new job and that may be the reason. I watched some online tutorials and did an experimental haircut on my aunt. It was fun! The following are from my walk home from the ACLS class. There are so many fun places in Seattle. I'll never leave again! Theo Chocolate was closed. It's on my list of places I must visit soon. I love walking down the neighborhood alleys:. My ears rang and my vi...
