We have been so busy that being at an internet cafe was not high on the priority list, but we move again tomorrow so best to check email before doing so. Our last travel day was very long! Find boat dock wait 1 hour 30 minute boat ride to San Pedro arrive at our room at 5:20 so exhausted that we fall asleep without dinner. Remember my last blog entry said that we wouldn´t be taking any chicken buses? Pens, pens, pens.

The last few sentences sum up Guatemala and, for that matter, the reason I love to travel. People here work together, live together, and die together. They are not satisfied, but nor are they defeated. Always there is friendship and family, and from this they build a kind of happiness.". We should all be so lucky.
