Lots and lots of kids. Sometimes it is crazy, sometimes a little loud, but there is always more than enough love, for lots and lots of kids! Tuesday, November 18, 2008. Where have I been? The same place we were almost a month ago.waiting for the now infamous fingerprints. I feel guilty complaining about the wait. What about all of the little ones out there without parents, not knowing if they will ever have a family. What about the little ones who do have parents but should be removed from the home?

Our Adoption Journey Blog. Saturday, August 30, 2008. The saying is right, there is no place like it! By the time we made it home, she was having so much fun with her brothers and sister that she decided bedtime could wait. Blake and Matt gave piggy back rides and Brooke helped her get her room in order. She learned their name signs almost instantly. Our Adoption Journey Blog. Saturday, March 19, 2011. Two Year's "Hearing" with Cochlear Implants Now. Just use your voice! You have to see the look in her eyes to really appreciate how thrilled she is with her progress - makes me want to cry. That said - I love sign language and know it's a part of our life forever. Our Adoption Journey Blog. Sunday, January 25, 2009. This Wednesday her implant will be activated. The audiologist said they tested the implant during surgery and her nerve reacted well. I don't know what that means exactly, just that it's good. He seemed very optimistic, despite the fact that Emma is getting her implant so late. Just a few more days and Emma will be hearing.
