An ongoing history of almost everything: 1-2-3-4
http://ongoinghistoryofalmosteverything.blogspot.com/2015/01/1-2-3-4.html
An ongoing history of almost everything. Thursday, January 1, 2015. We've managed to make it to birthday number 4 without doing a full on party but since in her head it's totally happening, and since she's so over the top excited about the whole thing, and since she's already inviting people, we figure this better be the year of the birthday party. And then came the birthday cake. For some reason having friends and family sing to her made Charlotte want to curl up into a ball and cry:. Present opening wa...

An ongoing history of almost everything. Friday, July 18, 2014. A LITTLE POMP AND CIRCUMSTANCE. May marked the month of Ryan's graduation from Dental School. Between the Gala, the graduation for the Military students, the School of Dental Medicine graduation, and the full blown UNLV ceremony it was about as drawn out as the four years of school! Why, a formal kilt of course, leather brogues and all! After the UNLV graduation ceremony- cap, gown, hood, medal and all. Introducing Dr. B:. Ryan asked me if i...

An ongoing history of almost everything: December 2013

An ongoing history of almost everything. Thursday, December 19, 2013. ARE YOU FOR SCUBA? So Ryan, what's it like? Oh, you can just go play in the river. It's kind of cool. You can rent inner tubes. You can swim to a hot spring too if you get far enough.". Ok, so is there somewhere the kids can play? No, not really. You pretty much just have to get in the water.". What about somewhere to sit when we get out? There's not really anything there but the water.". And here we see the absolute opposite of Nevada:.

An ongoing history of almost everything: October 2013
http://ongoinghistoryofalmosteverything.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
An ongoing history of almost everything. Sunday, October 13, 2013. Plan B was to hit up the residential neighborhoods and just do a little walking. No matter how far from the beach we ventured, the streets were completely lined with cars.and in the rare places that were free there was a big red curb letting us know we better keep looking. Back to the main drag, more loops of the car park, more coasting up and down main street. No spaces. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). GIVE ME A B! A NOTE ON THE TEXT.

An ongoing history of almost everything: November 2013
http://ongoinghistoryofalmosteverything.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
An ongoing history of almost everything. Sunday, November 10, 2013. The lovely folk of Kenansville didn't even charge us. Ryan introduced us to a Florida specialty: boiled peanuts. We made fun of him, but only until we tried them. They were so tasty. Max and Becky enjoying boiled peanuts. UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL. We were very spoiled in September. We were invited to join my sister, Rebecca, and her family on their holiday in Florida, an offer we couldn't refuse! Did he wan't to wrestle with an Alligator?

An ongoing history of almost everything: May 2014

An ongoing history of almost everything. Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Some lovely ladies from church put together a surprise Baby Shower for my sister Emma.and kindly agreed to put it together a few weeks earlier than planned so that I could be there too. The party officially started started long after Charlotte's bed time, but as I was walking her upstairs to bed she spied the cake pops sitting on the dining table and there was no getting her to bed after that. Joining in the baby Bingo. We have a winner!

An ongoing history of almost everything: LIFE SPRINGS ETERNAL ON A GAUDY NEON STREET
http://ongoinghistoryofalmosteverything.blogspot.com/2014/11/life-springs-eternal-on-gaudy-neon.html
An ongoing history of almost everything. Sunday, November 23, 2014. LIFE SPRINGS ETERNAL ON A GAUDY NEON STREET. Walking through our eerie empty house was a sweet reminder that, with the exception of my hairdresser and the Thai Spicy Basil, the things that made me the happiest were coming with me, and we get to fall in love with a new place and be happy there too. So we're leaving Las Vegas but, unlike Cheryl Crow, I'm not at all opposed to going back. November 26, 2014 at 7:33 AM. GIVE ME A B!

An ongoing history of almost everything: NORMALCY
http://ongoinghistoryofalmosteverything.blogspot.com/2015/01/normalcy.html
An ongoing history of almost everything. Thursday, January 1, 2015. With these four babies in my belly I've been prescribed varying degrees of bed rest for the last few months. We've had incredible help from new friends, and family who've dropped what they're doing to look after Charlotte and I, but if there's one time you really don't want to be laid up- it's 'the holidays.' I'd been trying to keep things as normal. As possible despite all of the very abnormal. Our very own little Pilgrim. He baked roll...

An ongoing history of almost everything: September 2014

An ongoing history of almost everything. Friday, September 26, 2014. DID IT FOR THE STICKER. But, a month before the race it dawned on us that four weeks wasn't a lot of time! Ryan's uncle is an artist, and his wife can pretty much do everything really, ridiculously well; when they heard there was a competition for the best decorated Ragnar Van it was time to put their talents to use.and once we saw what they came up with it was clear that the team van would be winning by a landslide! An ongoing history of almost everything: AN OFFICER AND A PAIR OF HIGH TOPS
http://ongoinghistoryofalmosteverything.blogspot.com/2014/11/an-officer-and-pair-of-high-tops.html
An ongoing history of almost everything. Sunday, November 23, 2014. AN OFFICER AND A PAIR OF HIGH TOPS. July Ryan had graduated Dental School and, after a month of waiting for his results, he was officially Board Certified. Not only that, but we were within 6 weeks of his start date for Officer Development School. A trifecta that could only mean one thing, it was time for him to commission as an Officer. Apparently though, it doesn't have. I think it worked out for the best, since first trimester 'feelin...
