Face to face sessions are aproximately 45 minutes long. They take place in Stonehaven. We can meet for as many or as few sessions as seems helpful to you. Our first meeting would be to decide if and what work we might do together. Some clients find it helpful to be able to walk away and leave some of their painful feelings behind until the next session. When working at depth it can be helpful to be together in the same physical space so that you are emotionally contained, held, and safe.

Q: How do I arrange counselling? A: Go to the contacts page to email me or use the mobile number you can find at the top of each page. This phone is permanently on Voice mail which I check regularly. Leave your name and a safe contact number and I will get back to you on that number. No need to leave a message at this stage. Q: How long is a Counselling session? A: A session lasts 50 minutes. The remaining 10 minutes I use for note taking and record keeping. Q: How many sessions will I need?
