Step 1: Pick or buy fresh local guavas. They are yellow when ripe. Step 2: Cut Guavas in half, scoop out the inside, and blend with a bit of water. Step 3: Strain seeds out of juice. Step 4: Add sugar and water to taste. Note: Measurements are approximate. A dozen Guavas makes about 1.5 liters of Juice. Option 2: No boiling.

Monday, June 29, 2009. SET Board members win big at the 2009 4-H University. SET Board members took home honors as state contest winners and alternates as the LSU. 8217;s 4-H University. Concluded Thursday night (June 25) on the LSU. Hundreds were winners in 4-H competitions for trips and prizes. This year nearly 1,550 4- H'ers. Participated in the 95 th. Competitions come in areas ranging from agricultural demonstrations to wildlife habitat judging and from career preparation to consumer decision making.
