Shiro Samurai's Kimono: Nemaki
http://shirokimono.blogspot.com/2014/01/nemaki.html
Jan 11, 2014. Well, not much for me. I seemingly caught a sickness yeste rday (and not a funny one.) and I've been living under the blankets since then. I'm wary of eating/drinking mo. St stuff and I'm just generally not feeling all that good. Sure, it's better now than what it was on yesterday morning. But I'm still being careful. Oh, and why am I talking about being sick? I need more of these things! Slippers are discreetly photobombing. just. Like the rest of the background. lol. I know I do. But yeah...

Shiro Samurai's Kimono: KimoNovember – third outfit!
http://shirokimono.blogspot.com/2015/11/kimonovember-third-outfit.html
Nov 24, 2015. KimoNovember – third outfit! I threw together a third kimono outfit for the sake of KimoNovember. This time I took some liberties from kimono rules because I wanted to experiment a little. I hope no kimono purists will come and chase me with their naginatas on fire, lol. Mirror photo, full-body. Close-up on the collars. (not mirrored). I really loved asanoha ever since I first saw it and I was overjoyed when I found this yukata on eBay for quite long time ago! Obi Front. (not mirrored).

Shiro Samurai's Kimono: November 2015
http://shirokimono.blogspot.com/2015_11_01_archive.html
Nov 29, 2015. KimoNovember – fourth outfit! November is drawing to a close and I decided to end the KimoNovember event with a BANG! Yes, I dug out my tattsuke hakama (bakama? From the depth of my kitsuke storage box and combined them with a cream colored silk kimono and a black haori! Buhuu, sorry for the crummy mirror photo but I have no photographer. :(. Another mirror photo, close-up. These hakama were a really lucky find at Shinei. Close-up of the collars. Notice that you can see the haori's. I threw...

Shiro Samurai's Kimono: If the world was to end today...
http://shirokimono.blogspot.com/2012/12/if-world-was-to-end-today.html
Dec 21, 2012. If the world was to end today. I would wear kimono. Not like I believe in that humbug,. But I wore kimono anyway. I don't have so much to say about this coordination –. The kimono is the same "copper stripe" one I was wearing here. And the kaku obi is the light blue one I wore in my last post, except turned the other side which is this dark-gold-brass-ish-something color. Yes, the obi is reversible. I don't have a full-body picture this time. I was wearing black tabi as usual. My heart beat...

Shiro Samurai's Kimono: August 2015
http://shirokimono.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Aug 27, 2015. Smelly but free kimono ensemble kitsuke! But even though I haven't been active with kitsuke stuff I still recently got a new kimono and haori ensemble. It actually originally belonged to my brother, Jäätynyt Enkeli. I decided to wear the kimono and haori for a quick try-on. I noticed instantly that even though the kimono seems to be a hitoe (I assume it still counts as hitoe when only the very top part is lightly lined? It's still just as heavy as most of my awase ones! I couldn't be bother...
