As you can see, I use Carol Marine's Panel Holder on my easel for my smaller paintings; it is a great tool for keeping the panel in place, in addition to allowing you to paint off all four sides of the painting. Which takes place on Sunday, December 8. This is the first year that I will be participating in this event and I am looking forward to it. Sometimes it's nice to get back to our comfort zone.I just love painting still life. In this one, I wanted to capture the glow of the olive oil and the fleshiness of the cut tomato.
