I sooooo did not need to know that. One of my credit card limits has been bumped up another $200. Immediately my thoughts go to. Plane tickets for Christmas, Ani at Beacon Theatre in November. And if I acted on those thoughts- POOF! I'd be maxed again. Posted by Ruth @ 11:28. Links to this post. Silver-White Winters That Melt Into Spring". These are a few of my favourite things about my roommate:. My day with Fizz starts at 6 am, when she graciously wakes me up. She takes better care of Shits and Giggles...

The end of the ironbound. People can fade easily. like sand castles, and clouds, and whispers between strangers on a familiar sidewalk. Last night they sang your name on every corner of every street. watching from a distance, it was a religious experience. they all wore white. sang in unison. and the echo rose from the streets and up into the sky, bouncing off the dark blanket above and fading as it fell. I don't have the city anymore. I don't have you anymore. I still have my love for this city. I don't...

The days take longer. the seconds are like hours. the hours are days. and i've already told you how long the days take, they're too long without you. I want to give you a bath. to tan your skin with my touch. to lick you when you've gone dry and to hold you like your mother's blanket. Posted by Hugo @ 5/31/2004 09:46:00 PM. If ever you miss me, should you ever feel like you need more of me in your life, just stop by the ironbound. come see what it's become and understand that in all likelihood, i, to...

From an as yet untitled piece. I’ve come to see your King,. The man who killed a god with his hands,. He who wears his heart upon a sling,. And for this I’ve traveled many lands. I’m here for him I have not met. I have another for him to slay,. The rules of good and evil are set. Yet the immortals break them every day. The response came promptly. We have no one here by that description. We are a people victim of attrition. Go back to the forest you call home. Go back and among the wild beasts roam. With ...

Taking to your bends. I hid my poems beneath the curls of your hair. i laid my smile between the layers of your skin and found your touch to be a welcome blanket coming over me. and i took your jeans off for you, wanting to catch you as you are and not as the rest of the world gets to see you. Resting my face on the inside of your thigh, then turning you over and kissing their back, teasing you with suggestions and caresses. i did that. i did it often. It wasn't given to you at all. I hid my poems beneat...

Time trapped in a bottle. Went to see how they trapped time in a bottle on south orange ave. went to the other side of town to see how the other half lives. walked around. saw lots. saw little. it doesn't matter. People are always surprised at how i lose my breath at the smallest of details, but it is only they who can do that to me. all the really big things knock me out, and i'm not sure that isn't how it shouldn't be. Posted by Hugo @ 4/30/2004 10:18:00 AM. I didn't start out the day thinking about yo...

Treading Water in the Kiddie Pool. January 4, 2015. 8220;What book should we read? 8221; I asked as he hopped up into his bed, taking the last step on his step-stool at a flying leap and landing in a messy pile of pillows and twisted blankets. 8221; Little Boy S said, handing me a board book, well-worn on the edges and with a page escaping its binding. I smiled thinking of the many nights I’ve spent reading this story to S, almost from day one. 8220;Now sleep child of mine, as the stars shine above; I lo...
