http://bmwdick.blogspot.com/2010/11/sons-of-agony.html
Riding With Riepe And Other Indiscretions. Sunday, November 14, 2010. If you like Motorcycles and appreciate the “brotherhood” syndrome that delivers a sense of belonging to the emotionally disenfranchised, you may enjoy the TV series, Sons of Anarchy. Currently it can be seen on the FX Channel and on DVD and Blueray. I’m sure those with a larceny gene in their DNA or a teenager living at home can also find it in pirated files on the Internet. I use that time to catch up on Sons of Anarchy. I decided to ...

Riding With Riepe And Other Indiscretions: October 2010
http://bmwdick.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Riding With Riepe And Other Indiscretions. Sunday, October 31, 2010. This issue of Riding With Riepe and Other Indiscretions is dedicated to Michael Cantwell who hangs on my every word. The first layer of leaves on my driveway. Riepe also cooperated by coming up lame in the first furlong, as his chronic arthritis has reduced him to a sniveling ball of humanity, a large sniveling ball, but one that was having a hell of time even trying to roll or bounce. A Tiny sample of Minado's Menu. We had a chance to ...

Riding With Riepe And Other Indiscretions: September 2010
http://bmwdick.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Riding With Riepe And Other Indiscretions. Saturday, September 25, 2010. What better way to celebrate National Comic Book Day than to take a motorcycle ride with that icon of two-wheeled madness, that witty raconteur, master of the turned phrase, and self-professed sex symbol….I’ll bet you expected me to say “Jack Riepe.” Nah. Not him. Actually I was thinking of Pop-Pop Gerry Cavanaugh, but that’s for another story. Jack suggested we head for the Gap Diner which has a large biker-friendly parking lot and...

BMW motorcycles
http://www.rollybrown.com/bmw.html
Here is the beginning and the (current) end of my history with BMW motorcycles! I got my first Beemer, a '67 R60/2, in 1971. Over the years, I then owned an R75/5 and an R60/7. Eventually, after too many near misses, I got the willies, and put motorcycles aside for 20 years. With the help of the Mac-Pac Southeastern PA Eating and Wrenching Society, I re-upped in 2003 with a used K75. To check fotos of the Mac-Pac. Visit to the Lakota Wolf Preserve. But fate had other plans. RIP Thump-Thump, 2003-2006.

Riding With Riepe And Other Indiscretions: Motorcycle Addiction, Uncureable

Riding With Riepe And Other Indiscretions. Thursday, February 3, 2011. Motorcycle Addiction, Uncureable. Last week while talking with Jack Riepe and complimenting him about his recent articles in the. He dusted off his “critical prick” persona and reminded me that I have not written anything on my blog since last November. For the record, weather. Here in the Northeast sucks. Cold and wet came early and forcefully and appear to be the new seasonal standard. 65279;. Brainless Woman In A Poodle Skirt.

Riding With Riepe And Other Indiscretions: February 2011
http://bmwdick.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Riding With Riepe And Other Indiscretions. Monday, February 28, 2011. All The Gear All The Time. It's a good thing my bike is a babe magnet. Usually, during the cold months, I get exercise by splitting logs. It’s a macho, Paul Bunyan thing with me. I do it by swinging a heavy maul over my head and directing it home on weathered, “starred” logs. Even on the coldest day I can work up a sweat in a few minutes and come away smelling like Babe, Bunyan’s Blue Ox. My Inaccessible Wood Pile. I’m amazed at ...
