Keeping our family connected across the miles. Sunday, June 2, 2013. For a long time now I've been wanting to get a hive or two of bees. We have the space, we have the proximity to lots of blackberry bushes, we love honey, so why not do it? So for Mother's Day dad built a top bar beehive, following instructions we printed on line. Now, how to get bees? A perfect example of God's tender mercies that happen on a daily basis if we are observant! How to get them from the post inside the hive box? They now se...

http://dennisreberfamily.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Keeping our family connected across the miles. Monday, June 30, 2014. Grandpa and I are doing well. The weather is clearing up and warming up. We enjoy sitting in the back watching the sun go down and feeling the cooling breeze coming from off the canyon. What a beautiful area we live in! Grapes are looking good! Our bees disappeared while we were gone so now we have two hives and no bees. Trying to catch a swarm. Cut, Raked, Baled and loaded. My booth at the Farmers Market. Six sisters being goofy.
