Amy and Clay: Sparkly Seashore Christmas Tree
http://amyandclay.blogspot.com/2013/12/sparkly-seashore-christmas-tree.html
December 23, 2013. Sparkly Seashore Christmas Tree. So I got this crazy/brilliant idea to decorate the Christmas tree all with seashells and red berries. Mom suggested adding sprigs of baby's breath. We didn't end up getting the red berries. But we created an assembly line and mod podged and glittered a bunch of sea urchins, sea stars and sand dollars. I got one HUGE sea star for the top. And I couldn't resist this mermaid. I love it so much! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Beauty of Ice.

Oh, The Places You'll Go.: November 2010
http://reaganconnection.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Oh, The Places You'll Go. The Road Less Travelled. Monday, November 15, 2010. In May, 2010 we took a trip to Northumberland, England to visit Lindisfarne Castle. The only way to get onto the island is by a narrow strip of land available only during low tide. We had checked the tide time before making the drive up and arrived just in time to be one of the first across to the island. A warning to take seriously! Across the sea to Bamburgh Castle. Looking back toward the stairs and bedrooms on the left.

Surprise! | The Chronicles of O
https://esodhiambo.wordpress.com/2013/12/18/surprise-2
The Chronicles of O. December 18, 2013. I love it when my kids surprise me. I mean, I MADE those guys–I know everything about them, don’t I? I feed them. I wash them. Everything they have is because I gave it to them, including most of their illnesses. Yet, sometimes they spring something on me. Amos was more tight-lipped. I wouldn’t have been very surprised if he had decided to opt out of the solos. Some kids do. Amos surprised me:. Click to email (Opens in new window). From → Amos. Leave one →. Amos is...

Sunday, May 29, 2011. Abbey finishes Elementary school! What a headline right? She actually did it, she graduated the 5th grade! OK, I know it's just 5th grade but it is it is a little hard to believe that she's going to be in Middle School next year. Here's a little tribute to the Abster and her last month as a 5th grader:. First, a few weeks ago the 5th graders got to party it up at Reunion Ranch. Here she is with her buddies Rachita and Caroline. Going down the zip-line:. The water was freezing! Ps I ...

Amy and Clay: May 2013
http://amyandclay.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
May 30, 2013. This was DEFINITELY the highlight of the trip to the dog park for Sam. He was climbing on a log and spotted a snake. After only a tiny bit of hesitation he caught it (with a bit of help from his extremely brave and cool mom who chased the snake out and lifted up the log like a superwoman). I love the look of joy and excitement on his face. Viv was a bit unsure about the snake. At first she decided to touch it, but only with a small stick. There's its little tongue! Here's Sam playing sloth ...

Amy and Clay: September 2013
http://amyandclay.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
September 30, 2013. Sam decided he wanted to make a bean bag with some felted wool scraps I had. He did a great job. He was quite precise, considering it was his first attempt at hand sewing, and the stitches were tight enough to keep all the beans in. I love seeing him so focused on his projects. September 26, 2013. Let's Go Fly a Kite. Grammy made kites with the kids from their Kiwi Crate and we flew them outside in the cool fall air. This new medium is going to be taking the art world by storm! I keep...

Smith Living: Horshoe Bay
http://smithliving.blogspot.com/2013/08/horshoe-bay.html
Saturday, August 3, 2013. Horseshoe Bay is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. It is known as one of the most beautiful in the world and it did not disappoint. Even Travis who is not a water/beach person said it was amazing. First thing we did is set up our spot and climb up that rock on the right. This was called the kids pool. It was a perfect place where the waves didn't come in secluded just enough by the natural placements of the big rocks. After climbing back down we body surfed the waves fo...
