makeshift: Day 1 - of my new/old life!

http://makeshiftproject.blogspot.com/2010/09/day-1-of-my-newold-life.html

Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Day 1 - of my new/old life! Which leads me to some other points. First of all, I certainly don't feel more comfortable today than I have been all year (as I had anticipated). My cardigan is smaller than I had remembered it and my jeans don't stretch at all - I could barely bend over to do up my shoe straps! Posted by Natalie Purschwitz. September 1, 2010 at 5:32 PM. makeshift: One month later!

http://makeshiftproject.blogspot.com/2010/09/one-month-later.html

Tuesday, September 28, 2010. It's been a very full month, if a little anticlimactic. I'm still wearing mostly my own handmade clothes but have been reveling in the cornucopia of shoes I now have to choose from. Also, I'm probably more excited about designing than I have been all year but mostly because I know that I don't have to wear my designs later that day. I thought I'd post a few things here today. Well, that's it for now but I'm in making mode so I'll try to post a few more things in the next week...

Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Day 365 - My Last Day! Well folks, it has been swell. I thank you very. Much for following , commenting, engaging. I will still be occasionally posting with new thoughts and handmade things but I will probably be wearing a few things that I didn't make myself from now on. I am pooped. Please feel free to email me at makeshift@huntandgather.ca. So please check in once in a while or email me if you have any specific interests. See you out in the world. Posted by Natalie Purschwitz.

Kicking Clay: March 2011

http://claykicking.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Occasional thoughts about raising dust and finding treasure. Saturday, March 26, 2011. Turns out this year is just not at all, even the tiniest bit, about me. It is not about baking more bread and making more time for myself. It is not, so far, a great year. It's not even a good year. It's been a shitty year, actually, so far. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Block all the things | a view into my world

https://aviewintomyworld.wordpress.com/2014/11/05/block-all-the-things

A view into my world. Musings, inspirations, projects and maybe the odd rant or two…. November 5, 2014. Block all the things. I joined in with the Follow Your Arrow Mystery Knitalong run by Ysolda back in January and when I was done knitting I discovered the magic of blocking. I’d never properly blocked anything before, it was kind of unnerving stretching my precious knitting out but it led to a spate of blocking…. Next post →. Smaller more regular witterings from me. A view into my world. Musings, inspirations, projects and maybe the odd rant or two…. September 20, 2014. Sewn: Oxford Halter Shirt v.1. My bike greeted me with a flat tyre when I came out of the office so I found myself sitting waiting for a bus with no knitting, no book and no music; no entertainment. Time to write one of the many over due blog posts so! A few years ago Carolyn posted a triple collar sleeve/shoulderless shirt. Next post →. Smaller more regular witterings from me. What is knitting really? | a view into my world

https://aviewintomyworld.wordpress.com/2015/01/09/what-is-knitting-really

A view into my world. Musings, inspirations, projects and maybe the odd rant or two…. January 9, 2015. What is knitting really? A while ago I was trying to explain machine knitting to my boyfriend who then got very interested in the idea of progamming something or other to do with a knitting machine… I can’t really remember what, but what did stick in my head is the odd little video that we came across in our lite searching;. What is knitting really? Next post →. Smaller more regular witterings from me.

Occasional thoughts about raising dust and finding treasure. Thursday, January 20, 2011. There is Snow In My View. Well, thank you January, for kicking my self-satisfied ass. But, thankfully, inspiration continues to appear most randomly. Case in point, with thanks to Sarah: http:/ summerpierre.wordpress.com/2011/01/10/reflections-on-a-year-of-motherhood/. Kicking Clay: A Sheepish Return

http://claykicking.blogspot.com/2012/09/a-sheepish-return.html

Occasional thoughts about raising dust and finding treasure. Monday, September 17, 2012. Well, here I sit waiting for the next big event in our family's life. The arrival of baby two. And I'm thinking that's as good an excuse as any to update this erratic online record of our little lives! I know in a matter of days (maybe hours? Ah well. http://claykicking.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Occasional thoughts about raising dust and finding treasure. Monday, June 20, 2011. Just wanted to say, belatedly, happy father's day to all the fathers, papas, pops, daddys, and dads who I saw out and about yesterday enjoying their children and being an important part of their lives. You are making our future better. Thank you. And to the dads I personally celebrate on this day. I love you. Life as we know it. The "You Are Here Room" at Daddy Longlegs Art Hotel in Cape Town.
