Making a Modern Family. Monday, November 15, 2010. Our first ultrasound was today and it went fantastic! We saw one little bean, measuring ahead, with a super strong heart! It was such a great moment for the guys to be here for it and I'm so glad they came. They whipped out their iPhones and recorded the sound of the heartbeat, it was so sweet. And, what a weight off my shoulders to know there's a baby in there growing and thriving. Yay. Here's a picture of the little tadpole. Making A Modern Family.

Making a Modern Family. Thursday, May 19, 2011. Well, almost - I'm 33 weeks and 5 days today. Wow. I stopped being naive and being one of those women who thinks, "I could have a baby in 2 weeks and 2 days! As if 36 weeks is the magical date my babies are ready - because mine never are. I fully expect another 8 weeks of being pregnant. But still, how the time has flown. Everything looked perfect still today. Blood pressure was excellent (doctor wanted to know my secret, said mine is better than hers!
