Making Spaces Marketplace * Made From Pretty Little Things: THE MAKING SPACES PROJECT

http://makingspacesmarketplace.blogspot.com/p/about-us.html

THE MAKING SPACES PROJECT. THE MAKING SPACES PROJECT. And Kirsten Ryan-Semenetz of Forget Me Not Paperware. 8211; indie micro business owners with over 15 years of business experience between them. Our philosophy was based on the idea of "makers helping makers" and our aim was to generate continued support of each other within the handmade community and promote our work to the wider community at the same time. All of which, we are pleased to say, we achieved! Activate vacant commercial and retail spaces.

Needle vs Thread: Well hello there!

http://needle-vs-thread.blogspot.com/2012/07/well-hello-there.html

Sunday, July 15, 2012. Did you miss me? I've been a little busy! I had a shop for 6 months! That kind of consumed my life. Between co-running it and running Needle vs Thread, I didn't have a spare brain cell to blog. Now things have changed. Needle vs Thread is back in full swing. And it has its own website at long last: www.needlevsthread.com. It also has a Facebook page: www.facebook.com/NeedleVsThread. And the etsy shop. The Needle vs Thread website has its own blog. Needle vs Thread: January 2011

http://needle-vs-thread.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html

Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Sometimes I find it hard to explain what I do. It is best summed up by saying that I'm a designer and a seamstress. But that is a very broad description and I think it can be a bit misleading. I think people think that as a seamstress I can sew anything but the truth is that I can't! I'm terrible at making clothes and even worse at making curtains, and I can't follow most patterns to save my life! For pointing me in the direction of most of this stuff too! I thought it was ab...

http://needle-vs-thread.blogspot.com/2011/06/bags-bags-and-more-bags.html

Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Bags, bags and more bags. A quick post while I wait for some glue to dry! I'm busy making stock for Handmade Market. Which is just over a week away. There will be more satchels than I can probably fit in the car, as well as some new handbags which I thought I'd give you a sneak peek at. This pretty pretty one has a leather base and strap! The glue is dry, so off I go! See you all in Canberra on June 11th! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Needle vs Thread: May 2011

http://needle-vs-thread.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Sunday, May 15, 2011. My embroidered clutch purses have always been really well liked by everyone who sees them, but it has always been obvious that a lot of people who loved the embroidery didn't purchase one because a clutch purse isn't the most practical thing. So, I have a solution! And it's fabulous, and a little bit in part to a request from my friend Cloud. The idea was half formed in my head already, but Cloud's request cemented it. Needle vs Thread: March 2011

http://needle-vs-thread.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Sunday, March 27, 2011. We have the technology. I'm ridiculously excited about this! I just took delivery of a shiny new mobile EFTPOS machine, so next time you visit me at the markets, you can pay by card! My focus this year is on markets and since my products tend to be on the higher end of the price scale for your average market, I'm hoping that it will make things easier for my customers who don't always carry a lot of cash. Can't wait to try it out! Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Monday, March 7, 2011.

A balanced Economic, Social and Environmental approach. Making Spaces is a values based independent consultancy that exists to improve the well-being of people in low income communities. We believe that people are the only asset that can make a decision for change and who may choose to put their ideas and energy into bringing this about. We believe that although economies were created to serve people, that people are now for the most part serving economies and that this needs to change.

Making Spaces Work - Ketchum - Sun Valley, ID

My business was founded on an idea that decorating your home should be affordable, no matter what your budget. My goal is to bridge the gap that exists in Interior Design by bringing Interior Decorating to those that are intimidated by expensive high-end design yet want more than a painting contractor in a white van can offer. Whether you need a single room painted or your whole house redesigned, Making Spaces Work welcomes the opportunity to work with you on your project.

Making Space | Do Tell

The Summer of Getting Healthier. June 29, 2014 in fun. The past school year has been intense (see lack of posts here for months and months as partial evidence). Now that it’s summer, I’ve decided to get healthier. It’s a multi-pronged approach:. 1 Food: I eat Whole30 most of the time (google for more info) – it works for me. 2 Exercise: re-starting after a long time off – I have nowhere to go but up, eeps! 3 Massage therapy: releasing muscle and emotional tension all in one go. 6 Fun What’s that? I&#8217...

Making Space To Breathe. A place for words to go. when i'm listening. Nine and a half. February 26, 2014. For nine and a half;. I have hardly writ,. Barely cut and torn old papers,. I have not touched the work in my book. For nine and a half;. Though sometimes words have been heard,. I have not been urged to scrawl. Or scribble them with my pen. For nine and a half;. I have stepped on the stage. Only for stories long before sorted,. No pressing surge to tell my intimates or to transform in to another.
