Cobalt-Dragonfly Creations: July 2014
http://cobalt-dragonfly.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Calligraphy and Illumination Gallery. Monday, July 28, 2014. When I saw a page in the Hours of Catherine of Cleves depicting various archery/crossbow paraphernalia, I knew I wanted to one day use it as an archery award. Thus, when the opportunity arose that our Kingdom needed an Archery Champion scroll, to be awarded the evening of the archery competition. The winner ended up being HL Owen ap Howell. It's awesome to see him out shooting again. Posted by Crystal Marinelli. Wednesday, July 2, 2014. He seem...

Cobalt-Dragonfly Creations: October 2014
http://cobalt-dragonfly.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Calligraphy and Illumination Gallery. Tuesday, October 28, 2014. Oh, this poor neglected blog. So I haven't been creating too much lately, or at least not that which I can share at this point, so here's a little something I made to help safely transport the Archery Champion scroll to its destination. My aim was that it's merely for transportation, and that the recipient return the case to their local group or Kingdom for re-use once they have their scroll safely at home. Some people make similar cases wi...

Lady Patricia of Trakai: Happy Rasos, Kupolės and/or Joninės!
http://ladypatriciaoftrakai.blogspot.com/2009/06/happy-rasos-kupoles-andor-jonines.html
Lady Patricia of Trakai. Adventures of a Lithuanian persona in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Happy Rasos, Kupolės and/or Joninės! Happy St. John's Day. Or maybe I should call it by one of its other, more Lithuanian Pagan names: Rasos, Kupolės, Joninės. So many names for a single day celebrated by so many cultures. Yes, the summer solstice actually occurred on June 21 this year, but June 24 is the traditional date of Midsummer Day. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Fairy inspired | Toadstool Tales
https://toadstooltales.wordpress.com/2015/04/14/fairy-inspired
Magical makes and a love of 'shrooms. Hello all – hope the sun is shining down on you on this glorious day! It certainly is here! I’m continuing down my fairy inspired path and have made a hood – not a bear hood – or a fox hood – this time it’s a pixie inspired hood! Ah – cute huh? It is just the right kind of shape to be worn by a fairy venturing out into the woods (but maybe not in this weather! I had to give it tassels – I think I’m becoming slightly obsessed! First there was the tassley bag. Fill in ...

Get A Wiggle On: April 2016

Get A Wiggle On. A blog about sewing without finishing. Saturday, April 30, 2016. Labels: Dressing Thy Gentleman-Sister. My Trip to Disney in 2014 is well documented in my blog. Less well documented is the dresses I wore. I only have this one here of the Honey Do Dress, a fabric covered in white Daisies, bee hives and bees, and a few of my Micky Dress, as shown below. The Pattern I used was Butterick 6094. Actually I was quite proud of these dresses, and they were my go-to nice dresses when going out.

Get A Wiggle On. A blog about sewing without finishing. Saturday, December 13, 2014. Ariel Pink Dress Trial Run! Ariel Pink Dress Tutorial. Friday, December 5, 2014. Ariels Pink Dress Tutorial Three. For the back closure I knew three things. 1) No zippers. I dont have anything against them, as a whole, trust me. But in my costumes an obvious zipper just kinda sticks out badly. Omg And image, getting INTO and OUT OF the dress! So, no buttons. 3) Buttons and zippers are the only things I had experience with.

Om ylle, lintråd och medeltid: april 2015
http://yllefetischisten.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html

http://yllefetischisten.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Torsdag 10 oktober 2013. Halvvägs broderar ingen påsväska. Hosor, hosor, hosor! Hosor, såklart. (och kanske en ny pilgrimsväska. Hm.). Jag bjuder på den l...

Get A Wiggle On: March 2016
http://pleasantlymalformed.blogspot.com/2016_03_01_archive.html
Get A Wiggle On. A blog about sewing without finishing. Sunday, March 6, 2016. When I first began sewing I got this idea. See, I have a surplus of fabric, a ridiculous amount of patterns and quite a stash of thread. However, I am one of the people who has a hard time sewing something if it doesn't have a purpose. So I thought, hey, Im gonna make costumes for myself and my family and do family portraits in them! I sewed them. This year im thinking. REGENCY. Anyway, Here are the ingredients:. I have a leng...
