About a Boy and a Baby: April 2014
http://brackandjordan.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 6, 2014. Benton has been asking for months to go camping. He saw kids making s'mores in the woods on TV and wanted in on that action. Brack was on spring break this week and happily obliged our almost-four-year-old. They hiked, set up camp, explored, saw a lizard, waded in the creek, cooked noodles and, yes, ate s'mores. Benton came home dirty, happy and already planning his next trip. Thanks to Brack for bringing the camera along to take pictures for this sentimental mom. Put Up Your Dukes.

About a Boy and a Baby: Snow
http://brackandjordan.blogspot.com/2014/01/snow.html
Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Do you know what occurs even less often than my blog posts? Snow in Georgia. So today is a real anomaly because BOTH are happening. Hold on to your hats. (Benton actually said that line today so I thought it relevant to include.). Since we don't have appropriate cold weather gear for our kids, we just piled on 100 layers of clothing and hoped for the best. Parker, who just started walking a few weeks ago, could barely move. Benton just wanted to eat the snow. Put Up Your Dukes.

About a Boy and a Baby: October 2012
http://brackandjordan.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Benton has a cough right now and it's especially active at night. After getting up a few times last night with coughing fits, he was sleeping in a little later than normal today. I went in to check on him and climbed in his bed beside him. I put my hand on his back and he opened his eyes. This is the conversation that followed. Benton: "You're hurting my back.". Me: "Oh, sorry. Can I hold your hand? B: "No, this hand is for picking up toys.". Me: "Sounds good.". Until now....

As you can see below, we had over 500 teachers attend our conference. It was a huge success. My translator for the two days at the conference was Nestor. We had a lot of time to talk and really bonded. His wife is Emily, and she's pregnant and back in the States. Please pray for them! Thank you for your prayers! Thursday, January 15, 2009.

To settle for the "American Dream". Monday, January 31, 2011. Learning to be frugal has become one of our hobbies. To settle for the "American Dream". Friday, October 12, 2012. Thank you Lizzy Nicole Photography). This summer Charis turned 4 years old. What a joy it has been to watch her grow. She has become a very curious, responsible, sensitive,. Inquisitive, spunky, helpful, smart, sweet little girl. When we named her, our first born, this was our prayer, our plea, our vision. For this little babe. Now, as the days unfold and she grows up, our desire is ever. To encourage curiosity and learning we decided. In the ...
