Team Lara: July 2010
http://teamlarakaufman.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 31, 2010. Day 37. London. To Brantford Ontario. What do you call a bicycle paceline riding along a road in Ontario today? A frozen rope (see attached photo of cold cyclists in a paceline). That's actually not true. A "frozen rope" is a hard hit line drive in baseball, perhaps the description reserved for the hardest hit balls in baseball. I just borrowed that phrase for today's blog. Oh yeah, there was one other thing to report today. My Duchess is here with me right now! Did you write tha...

http://jpschroeder.blogspot.com/2011/07/crr-abb-day-7-leadville-to-snowmass.html
Joe's Bike Ride Across America. Thursday, July 7, 2011. CRR ABB Day 7 - Leadville to Snowmass. We have had great weather on this tour. Clear skies in the morning, and partly cloudy in the afternoon EVERY day, save for rain in the afternoon of our one off day. We have been very lucky to that extent. Today we cycled 69 miles to Snowmass. The first 15 miles were downhill with Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive to our right. Today's ride: http:/ connect.garmin.com/activity/97543608. Blog By Bike: Day 1: Astoria, OR, to St. Helens, OR
http://blog-by-bike.blogspot.com/2010/06/day-1-astoria-or-to-st-helens-or.html
Celebrating 30 Years Over 3,690 Miles. Monday, June 21, 2010. Day 1: Astoria, OR, to St. Helens, OR. Yesterday, we rode 30 miles round trip from our hotel to the beach to dip our rear wheels in the frigid waters of the Pacific Ocean. We pedaled in dreary weather, but the combined energy of all the riders was like a pseudo-sunshine. My backside made a cameo in Helen's account of today. Is Mark's version. As for mine:. I took a photo for me. And another in honor of Ellen's "Quest for World Domination".

Team Lara: June 2010
http://teamlarakaufman.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Gone with the wind. Before I get to the details of today's ride, I have to report that. Got a new brain, a massage, and new eyes yesterday at George's bike shop in Boise. New eyes are a new Mirrcycle mirror so I can see what's coming up behind me. He also got a quick once-over safety check. All is good with. Not to be indelicate, but that's older than you Eleanor, and pretty close to you Muriel! Let's see what she thinks of it. On to today's mail:. Allan from Toronto writes.

Joe's Bike Ride Across America: Yellowstone National Park
http://jpschroeder.blogspot.com/2011/07/yellowstone-national-park.html
Joe's Bike Ride Across America. Sunday, July 10, 2011. Evidence from the forest fire of 1988 is still visible. There are still vast areas of burned tree trunks. Growing among the burned trunks are younger trees, probably about 20 years old. This view is during the drive south towards Canyon Village. It would be hard to not see wildlife at Yellowstone. We saw plenty of buffalo and elk. We did not see any grizzlies though. We could even see the Tetons far to the southeast. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Joe's Bike Ride Across America: Teton and Yellowstone N.P.'s
http://jpschroeder.blogspot.com/2011/07/teton-and-yellowstone-nps.html
Joe's Bike Ride Across America. Saturday, July 9, 2011. Teton and Yellowstone N.P.'s. Today, we drove through Teton National Park and parts of Yellowstone National Park. After passing the ABB hotel in Jackson, we took the same drive north with the Tetons on our left. Memories of that day we cycled from Jackson to Dubois last year came back. Karen and I had to stop and take pictures at all of the same places I did last year. Old Faithful erupted on schedule while we were there. De Smet, SD. CRR-ABB Day 1 ...

Celebrating 30 Years Over 3,690 Miles. Saturday, July 17, 2010. Day 27: Mitchell, SD, to Sioux Falls, SD. Average Speed: 12.9 mph. Max Speed: 25.9 mph. Blog and Ride Details. I must begin today's post with highlights from The 40th Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo. Photo from Andrew's blog. However, I was unable to maintain my non-bias review of the setting and scene when the rodeo announcer projected ( what was in my opinion. In fact, in the United States, anybody can be a patriot without doing anything at all!
