Moogie Wonderland: July 2008
http://wildmoogswings.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 31, 2008. Childhood Favorites are Funny Again. When I was a kid I loved Garfield. I can not emphasize this enough. In the early 80s, I thought Garfield was the most colossally hi-larious thing on earth. Okay, I was like, eight. Maybe. For Aimee's copy of Garfield Weighs In. And so on. The only one that never left the safety of my bookshelf was Garfield Eats His Heart Out. Y'all, this is brilliant. From the Garfield Minus Garfield website:. Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfie...

Moogie Wonderland: October 2007
http://wildmoogswings.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 27, 2007. Testing the Limits of the Human Heart. As I read this article, the world became dramatically less about me, and more about all of us. I paused to be thankful for everything I have, and more importantly, thankful for everyone I love. I don't take that pause enough. I've been reminded to take that pause more. Below is both the full text of and a link to the article that stopped me, so quickly, in my tracks. By A Stacy Long. October 23, 2007. There was nothing Jordan could do.

Moogie Wonderland: This Guy...
http://wildmoogswings.blogspot.com/2008/08/this-guy.html
Thursday, August 28, 2008. I love this guy. Today is his birthday; he would have been 63. Happy 63rd, Dadders. I love you. Note: I wrote these words a couple years ago. I felt the need to post them again, as my sentiments have not only not changed, but have grown even stronger. My first thought was "Wow, I never noticed how much they look alike." I'm sure your Dad hears your birthday wishes loud and clear and is no doubt immensely proud of his girl. September 15, 2008 at 11:35 PM. These Go To Eleven!

Moogie Wonderland: May 2008
http://wildmoogswings.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 26, 2008. Can you feel it, see it, hear it today? What stopped my FM scan in its tracks? A cover of Faith No More's Epic. I listened in disbelief. It was terrible. Remember when the American version of The Office premiered, and anyone who was at all familiar with the UK version hated it? And why did people hate it so much? The Afghan Whigs' cover of TLC's Creep. Sonic Youth's cover of The Carpenters' Superstar. I had this opinion long before seeing Juno. C'est ça. End rant. Links to this post.

Moogie Wonderland: March 2008
http://wildmoogswings.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 25, 2008. One more thing to cross off my list of things to do in life: Live in a hotel. Living in this hotel has turned me into such an old lady. I'm a major grandma up in here. I get home from work, I watch the local news, I watch NBC nightly news, and then I watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! By the time Jeopardy! Little treats and leaves me neatly-stacked pyramids of Hershey's chocolates. One day she even left a toy for Banjo! Accompanied by a very sweet hand-written note. BAD DOINS K...
