There is an article by Alaric DeArment on the drug store news website that says that there was a recent study done that shows that the type II diabetes gene found to predict diabetes in adults also predicts obesity in children. He found the article published online in the Diabetes Journal on Nov. 23. It is so amazing how many things are being discovered and understood and changed because of technology....

Lorie pounded 2 nails on our guest room wall that hold one diploma for her and one diploma for me. I was able to squeeze four years of college into 36 months of life and now look at me. Married. You Have One Day. They always give an ultimatum. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. I looked out the window and what did I see? A million mosquitoes, trying to kill me? I woke up on Friday early because Lorie and I had to teach a Career Workshop. I walked out into the living room to go into the kitchen to make breakfast and I saw one of my worst fears. I now have a worst enemy. I will forever do everything I can to kill any mosquitoe I see for having to go through that disgusting episode on Friday, the 13th.
