Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Ashton's class put on a wax museum event yesterday, where all the kids dressed up as famous historical people. They all memorized a short bio and when you pressed a button in front of them, they "woke up" and repeated it. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to her school, but Lynell video taped it for me. Ashton was Betsy Ross and was adorable! Last night, as we went downstairs to watch it, I asked Ashton about the other kids' characters. Ash: "Yes, the Native American lady.".

Monday, July 13, 2009. Welcome to your new home. We have received quite the welcome to our new home town. On July 8th we went to a nearby park. While playing at the park with our children we returned to our car to find it had been broken into. My purse was left in the car and was stolen. The police termed it a "smash and grab." Dancin', Dancin', Dancin'. She's a Dancin' Machine. Wednesday, June 02, 2010. A few years ago, Ashton took a ballet class from a member of the Church in married student housing. The recital was held at the stake center and was a very low-key event with people crouching in front to get good video angles and yelling "smile" a lot. Boy, do I miss that now. For Evey's birthday she chose to go to the movies, eat at McDonald's, and swim. Mid-week we invited a few friends over for swimming and snacks. A sampling of our everyday happenings. Sunday, June 14, 2015. The summer library programs have been a life saver so far this year. We've been to them all and somehow we (maybe just me) still long for more. When we aren't at the library we have fun at home with movie parties, swimming, coloring, and Evey's favorite- dress up! Whenever Lynell has to work, the night always seems to get away from me. bedtime (supposed to be 8:30) stretches to 9ish, bathtime sometimes consists of getting sprayed off in the sink and healthy snacks get replaced by popsicles.
