Ailsa and Dale Leftwich. 8 weeks to go. As requested, here I am, 32 weeks pregnant. Posted by Ailsa @ 5/23/2006 04:35:00 PM. Anyone need some rhubarb? It seems like every year a new plant springs up in the rhubarb zone of our back yard. Most prairie gardens, especially in rural areas, just don't seem complete without a decent patch of rhubarb. This year a lot of plants are coming up a bit earlier than usual. One of the side effects of climate change, I guess. Posted by Ailsa @ 5/22/2006 11:00:00 AM.

Ailsa and Dale Leftwich. In February and March of 2006, I was invited back to the Bahá’í World Centre in Haifa, Israel to assist in the Archives Office for 6 weeks. I had previously spent 6.5 years there, during two different periods of service, between 1988 and 1991, and between 2000 and 2004. Just a few glimpses of my recent time there. Ailsa and Dale Leftwich. Ottawa: The wedding of Nousha and Vargha / Touring the Parliament Buildings. Right after Naw-Ruz / Easter weekend, we flew to Ottawa to attend the wedding of my dear friend Nousha Etemad to Vargha Ram. We arrived the day before so we had a chance to rest a bit and be tourists. We visited the Parliament Buildings, specifically the main building that contains the House of Commons and the Senate, as well as the Peace Tower shown here. Did I mention that Ottawa had a lot of snow?

Drumboy On the Move: Sing Not the Blues
http://besungu.blogspot.com/2013/12/sing-not-blues.html
Drumboy On the Move. Thoughts and Ramblings of Gustaff Besungu (Drumboy). Thursday, December 26, 2013. Sing Not the Blues. Two nights before Christmas, she struts onto the dance floor swaying and waving. Her right arm and thighs covered in tattoos, a lone dancer under the mood lights. She motions to the three piece band she wants to sing with them. The band finishes the Blues song they were playing. The lead guitarist asks, “What song? Satisfied with what she finds on her phone, she waves to the band,.

Drumboy On the Move. Thoughts and Ramblings of Gustaff Besungu (Drumboy). Thursday, January 16, 2014. A Canadian, Cameroonian and a Romanian are in an ice cream shop. sounds like a bar joke that takes place in an ice cream shop. However small nor casual such encounter might be, it has a profound implications in the direction the world is moving and what is fast becoming the normal (people of diverse backgrounds interacting and settling in countries not their country of birth). Ailsa and Dale Leftwich: February 2006
http://ailsahedleyleftwich.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Ailsa and Dale Leftwich. Before getting to the present, I thought it would be nice to step back a bit and include some photos from our wedding. We were married on 7 August 2004 at East Longview Hall, a lovely little country hall about 20 minutes’ drive west of High River, in the foothills of Alberta. It had rained quite heavily in the morning, but thankfully stopped several hours before the wedding, so we were able to have the ceremony outside, as we had hoped. Drumboy On the Move. Thoughts and Ramblings of Gustaff Besungu (Drumboy). Wednesday, February 18, 2015. As the year unfolds, seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years and into the continuum of eternity, I will surrender to possibilities. Respond to the call of the open road that challenges my sense of belonging and expand my being at one with the expanse of the heavens, the wonders of the stars, and the embrace of the universe.
