Matt, Megan and baby Liam. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. We have some exciting news! Matt got accepted to the Masters of Real Estate Development program at The University of Utah! Although we are not excited to be going over to the dark side we are so excited for him to start this program. So for the next year and half starting in January, we'll be bleeding red (well, and green too)! Tuesday, November 8, 2011. Let me first just say, did you see Matt's face as Alfalfa? He did this all by hand!

We decided that every year on our anniversary we are going to make goals to complete for the following year. Some things on our list for year 5 are grad school and hopefully a vacation in the Caribbean. We ate one of the most delicious meals of our lives and spent the rest of the time playing around town. Matt, Megan and baby Liam. Friday, July 29, 2011. We're learning the wise saying, "You can pick your nose, but. You can't pick your friend's nose.". He's really into it these days. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. He missed his nap to go to the zoo. This was about 1 minute after being in the car on the way home. 99% of the trip was Liam reacting to the animals like this. We had such a great time and hope to go back soon! Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Liam gave me a very special birthday present a couple of weeks ago!

We were surrounded by all of our loved ones who wanted nothing more than to share in our joy. On our wedding day I thought about our future. What would the next year be like? I have no complaints. I'm so grateful for Matt's great job and that he is able to provide for our family. His busy season was less stressful than we anticipated and he had a great team to work with, yet by the end it really started to take its toll on both of us. His team had finished! For me, one of the top ten perks of having my newborn back in 2009 was at Christmastime. I finally got to join the troops of parents who made the cute holiday cards out of their kids' photos that I'd always envied.
