The piece is intended not just to present definitive design manifestos, but also to embody them. Benjami Critton’s typeface Lydia is set in a single weight throughout the entire book while the design pushes the limits of the display face; it playfully streched, rotated, turned upside-down and skewed.

The Power of the True Stories. With Matt van Leeuwen. The Power of True Stories is an annual event hosted by Yale and Interbrand, focusing on sustainability and branding. The design solution is straightforward: re-use existing materials provided by registered attendees. Using these materials as a blank canvas the title of the conference is screened, stamped and overprinted to create branded marketing collateral.
