Mavis

I appear to be stressed. Maybe it's depressed? I don't really know anymore. I seem to no longer to be able to sleep, difficulties getting to sleep and I wake up early (but am to tired to actualyl do anything when I wake up) and I'm getting more and more tired with every passing day. And the trouble is - the motivation to work is simply gone. And missing that motivation the work situation seems to spirl down and down. The possibility of a work/LJ impact has caused me to restrict my LJ to friends only again.

Baby number 7 - all good so far. January 21st, 2014. Just got back from my 12 week scan (today at 13 weeks) and got my combi-test results. Risk factor very low, 1 in 2808 for Downs, 1 in 7195 for Trisomy 18 and 1 in 22474 for Trisomy 13. Placenta low, posterior but clearly not over the cervix, normal levels of fluid, 4-chamber heart view seen, all structural elements of baby looking normal. It's definitely a baby! Somebody ate the last 10 months. October 1st, 2013. I only just realised how long its been since I last updated here. Too much to fill in for now, so yeah, stuff happened. A lot of stuff. Mostly OK, some not-so-OK, some good. So weird to think that, had things gone a little differently, I would now be the mother of a schoolgirl. After nearly a year of nothing interesting at all to do I finally had a big exciting project to occupy by time at work - right up until it got cancelled yesterday. Love C. xxx.

That's mainly because I felt bleak and unhappy. People I care about had gone dark and silent. A couple of them are still pretending I don't exist, but one at least did a brave thing and told me what was happening. For that she gets many hugs. You know who you are.
