Tuesday, April 28, 2009. About 1/2 of the garden has been prepared, the rest lies under the grass. The lines have been moved several times as backs and knees have yelled to us, Enough is Enough. I have moved sod to cover an area in the backyard that has never had grass since we have lived here, over 25 years. Maybe there is a reason.we do live close the Oak Ridge. It was a good break. Not much to say except point out that Clemson shut out NC State. The weather has been beautiful. All you South Carolina people who have been wondering where the 70 degree weather is? We'll be visiting a local church tomorrow morning, and there's another one we plan on visiting before we join one.

Thursday, August 22, 2013. Camp-out inElkmont with the Frenches.Fireflies were not t out yet. The Frenches camped out at Elkmont and invited us to supper. We stayed one last time at the Riverside Hotel.They are going to tear it down to make a parking lot:(. We went to Elkmont to see the fireflies. We stayed at the Gatlinburg Inn with these two friends.
