Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Sylvia is 21 months. Sylvia is 21 months old and less like a baby everyday. We're going from words to small sentences. She is so much fun to be around! Weighs about 24 pounds. She's still very tall. Wears size 5 shoes. Wears 18-24 month clothes. Wears size 4 diaper. Talks in short sentences. Can count 1,2,9,10. Loves to fold her hands to pray when she goes to sleep. Sleeping great: 12 hours at night and 2-3 hour nap during the day. She loves to collect things. A New Day Rises.

Monday, May 12, 2014. Sylvia is 11 months old. How is it possible that our little baby is going to be a toddler in 1 month? Sylvia is 11 months old. (5.12.14). This month has been full of fun as our girl becomes more mobile. Size 12 month clothes. Size 2 in shoes ( if she ever keeps them on). Sleeping through the night! Still nursing about 90% of the time. The Ames Family Blog. Thursday, September 1, 2011. First day of Elementary school! This is just a quick post to show a few pictures of Maddie's first day of Kindergarten! She was SO excited for her first day! We don't have tons of money to spend on designer wardrobes (who does? But I wanted her to have something special. So we got her "Twinkle Toes." They're Sketcher shoes that light up in the toes and the sides when she walks. She LOVES them! I know I'm biased, but what a beautiful little girl we have :).

The Road to Portland 26.2. Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Week one in the books! It is tradition in Bloomsday to throw your unwanted clothes at the start line in the tree to be donated! The Church that always has their bells ringing and choir singing as the race is always on a Sunday! Carrying the Flag the whole 7.4 miles! The Ames Family Blog. Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Maddie Lou is 6! Better late than never, I say! Miss Maddie turned 6 on April 3rd (during her first official spring break :). Two days prior she lost her first tooth. It was like an official "sayonara" to babydom. We had a swim party for her at a local sports club. Friends from church and school came. She had a GREAT time! Monday, October 13, 2014. Sylvia - 16 months old. Sylvia is 16 months old! The biggest change this month has been her vocabulary.
