A little fun with history! Friday, January 29, 2010. When you are a Bear of Very Little Brain, and you Think of Things, you find sometimes that a Thing which seemed very Thingish inside you is quite different when it gets out into the open and has other people looking at it." - A.A. Milne, from The House at Pooh Corner. And so it is with writing, quite often I am a Bear of Very Little Brain. Posted by Karen Miller McConnell. Links to this post. Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Karen's History: September 2011
http://karenshistory.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
A little fun with history! Wednesday, September 14, 2011. My bout with fall fever took me to the mountains of SC in search of some fall color. We visited Table Rock, Pickens and surrounding areas. The Sumac and Sweet Gum were beginning to turn. I don't think it cured me, in fact it may have advanced my illness. Posted by Karen Miller McConnell. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Karen's History: December 2010
http://karenshistory.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
A little fun with history! Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Life During the Civil War. I'm reading journals about life in the south during the Civil War. Did you know that more soldiers died of disease than battle wounds? Life at home was not much better with food shortages, no men for the heavy labor and the threat of Yankee troops. What a life changing event this war was for everyone. Posted by Karen Miller McConnell. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Life in Antebellum Charlotte: Book Talks.

Karen's History: June 2010
http://karenshistory.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
A little fun with history! Wednesday, June 30, 2010. When do you stop researching? It's so hard to stop doing research and start writing. That is a major problem for me; so I have begun writting and am still researching as well. Which has really paid off since I've unearthed some major new information which will certainly find its way into the story. Posted by Karen Miller McConnell. Links to this post.
