Monday, May 11, 2009. Master Gardener, AKA :mom. This weekend my mom came to stay with us and she helped us work on our yard. It was really fun and I learned alot. About gardening. I let all our plants from the fall die which was a traumatic experience for me. I felt so bad. This spring/summer I am going to give it another try. Coincidentally. My mom got me plants that do very well if one forgets to water a few days in a row. My mom: the master gardener! She worked so hard on our yard! Friday, May 8, 2009.

http://patrickandjenhaney.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 27, 2009. I am still here! Yesit's me. I have not been abducted or become a hermit. I am still here- just trying to get my head above water. I will give you a quick update. Patrick and Jen went ice skating at the Galleria. It was fun. What was not fun was the 100 elementary school kids skating with us. My sister celebrated her 26th birthday. It is on December 25th. Yes- she shares a birthday with Jesus. Pretty big deal. She is the sweetest, most honest person I know. More posts to come!

LIVE all your days} . Saturday, February 25, 2012. Bamboo, and lots more fish and meat dishes that thankfully I successfully avoided without being noticed. I learned in that first meal not to dunk your item in the sauce next to it because the sauce might be wasabi! I can certainly see why most Asians are thin. You get the smallest bites with chop sticks. I eat just a little at every meal, but feel so full because it takes me a long time to just get those few bites. February 28, 2012. February 29, 2012.

LIVE all your days} . Saturday, February 11, 2012. The birthday celebration is officially over. The now five-year old is all tuckered out and fast asleep in bed. It's been a really fun couple of days in our family. Birthday morning eating a sprinkle donut on the special plate. Celebration of Life at school. Check out the birthday hat - very goofy looking. Jack can always make Lucy laugh. In pjs and waiting for story time to start. I love Lucy in a swimsuit. Mastering the lily pads, no small feat. Listen ...

High rises everywhere, lots of high end shops mixed right in with little markets. A couple of observations and experiences to share:. 6 Beginning to daydream about things I get to do in just 4 days: see Brad! I know you are biting at the bit to get home but every minute you are there is another story that you get to ...

LIVE all your days} . Tuesday, January 17, 2012. After a LONG hiatus, I am back to journaling. At least for now. Part of the problem with taking a break from journaling is that when you decide to pick it back up, you have no idea where to start. Instead of trying to chronicle the many events that happened over the last few months, here's a random sampling of the things running through my head and filling my life right now. Wait and hope for the Lord. Be brave and let your heart endure.". 4 My Lucy.sh...

LIVE all your days} . Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Our 4th annual Cousin Camp was held this past weekend. And I'm happy to report, I believe we out-did ourselves this time around! The cousins were all super excited before the weekend began. It's neat to think that they'll probably be even more excited these next few years as they grow older. They now make jumbo marshmallows - it's like the Big Mac version of marshmallows. As if marshmallows weren't bad enough for you already. A new addition to Cousin Camp: Co...

LIVE all your days} . Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Can't stop thinking about her. Still have a bottle of her perfume. I snuck it away when I was cleaning out her house. The first time I breathed it in it was like a punch to the gut because her presence overwhelmed me in a single inhale. That was 14 years ago and that bottle has moved with me and survived every bathroom clean-out since. In the early days she was my shadow and her memory appeared around every corner in my mind. She would be their one constant,...

Tuesday, November 24, 2009. O State Fair, How I Love Thee. I am slowly starting to update my blog. I love blogging so I don't know why I am such a slacker. The state fair was months ago but I have so many pictures that I had to post! Every year it is a tradition that my parents come and visit us and we go to the State Fair of Texas. I look forward to it for a whole 365 days. My family loves food and we will try anything. I get so excited for the State Fair - it feels like Christmas! My dad and his corny ...
