Life and Learning While Homeschooling. Asymp; Leave a comment. Ok, I know it’s barely May, but it is already hot. 87 degrees today, a scorcher for us in the Pacific Northwest! We needed something to cool to do that would still get us outside for a little bit to help burn off lingering cold symptoms we have. Lucky for us, my husband made colored ice cubes with food coloring in water the other day! Painting with ice was the perfect treat. Watch for My Time4Learning Review. Blog at WordPress.com.

Life and Learning While Homeschooling. Asymp; Leave a comment. When was the last time you sat down and hand wrote a letter? What about putting that letter into an envelope where you then addressed and stamped it? How many of you are like me and haven’t even a stamp in the house because you have had no need of one for so long? I have a simple challenge for you. Write back to everyone who writes to you. This can count as one of your mailed items. It was already nearing the middle of the month, but I figure...

Meandering In Musandam | Adventures in the Middle East
Adventures in the Middle East. Who, what, where and why? New blog — Taith Ellie. It’s been a blast! As most of you probably already know by now, I’m back in rainy Britain. It’s a lot colder here but with the constant change between sunshine and rain, it makes for some very pretty rainbows 🙂. Sunshine on Christmas day! Clinging on to Eleri so I don’t get blown away! No view to be seen because all the fog and rain is in the way, and I can’t say we stayed at the top for very long! Quite a change from the g...

I had lots of little craft projects in mind for today, most of them involving flowers and candles, but I never got round to it. Can you see what I mean? Pretty impressive, huh?

Sunday, October 16, 2016. Slow Down and Write. So here is the story of Katy and Matt's engagement. Matt, Katy's fiance, talked with Steve and I back in May and asked our permission to marry Katy. We, obviously, said yes. The proposal was to be a surprise on June 30. It is tough to keep a secret for 6 weeks. Turns out- Steve and I were better at it than Matt. He was very excited. We lured Katy to the house with the promise of a free meal at our local Mexican restaurant- El Real. She loves this place&#...

After ripping up the carpet and painting, our stairs stayed like this for a very long time:. Our original plan was to buy these. Last weekend, we sent the kids to Grandma's house and Keith and I worked our tails off getting everything done. I measured each of the risers and treads and then Keith cut them out while I worked on the tile work for the risers. The observant reader will n...

On a Southern Breeze
On a Southern Breeze. Monday, September 15, 2014. We've been back in the States for about a month and are slowly settling back in to life in our native country. Long enough to settle in and for it to feel like home. Packing up our apartment. Gourmet desserts from High Tea with friends. It was incredibly sad to leave Australia. I tried hard not ...
