The Flippant Perfectionist: December 2011
http://flippantperfectionist.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Random ramblings of thoughts and opinions that just can't seem to stay put in my head. Monday, December 12, 2011. This morning on the Today show, there was a wonderful story about the small town of Phillipsburg Montana. It was a feel good piece about how the town came together to help the school administrator and his daughter when they both had cancer. The scenery, of course, made me homesick, but the story made me proud. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Other ramblings I find interesting.

Random ramblings of thoughts and opinions that just can't seem to stay put in my head. Wednesday, September 22, 2010. College is closing in around me. Of course he doesn't, none of us did. Or we thought we did and then changed our minds a million times. So I was going to go with another tactic, the FUN of college! Then I though Oh Hell No! I can't hype up the fun of college or else he'll go thinking its a party and flunk out! That his parents will still be around all the time and tell him what to do?

The Flippant Perfectionist: Senior-itis
http://flippantperfectionist.blogspot.com/2011/08/senior-itis.html
Random ramblings of thoughts and opinions that just can't seem to stay put in my head. Friday, August 26, 2011. Our son, Hayden, is a senior this year. We knew it would happen. They go to school for a certain number of years and eventually you hit their senior year. I also knew it would be expensive. I had done some research about senior pictures and what the average senior party/graduation would cost. I thought I was prepared. I thought I had SOME idea. I was wrong. Yearbook Senior Ad: $300. Soinstead o...

Random ramblings of thoughts and opinions that just can't seem to stay put in my head. Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Dan Radcliffe was on Jon Stewart yesterday. Yes he was promoting Potter but that isn't what my blog is about. No really.it isn't. I'm serious! It was something he said that actually caught my attention. He was asked by Jon if he ever has to fake being excited about something, if he ever got "over" the excitement of things as many Hollywood people do. He said no. See for yourself. Daughter - "I'm...

The Flippant Perfectionist: The Birthday Month
http://flippantperfectionist.blogspot.com/2011/07/birthday-month.html
Random ramblings of thoughts and opinions that just can't seem to stay put in my head. Friday, July 1, 2011. Today is July 1, 2011. In 19 days I will be 39 years old. Excuse my language but how the FUCK did that happen? I type the number and even the numbers look old. 39. Wow. July 5, 2011 at 2:25 PM. I love the idea of celebrating yourself. It is concept that I think more people need to embrace. Dont wait for someone else to tell you how special you are, it is okay to tell yourself!

The Flippant Perfectionist: Our kitten is trying to kill me...
http://flippantperfectionist.blogspot.com/2011/11/our-kitten-is-trying-to-kill-me.html
Random ramblings of thoughts and opinions that just can't seem to stay put in my head. Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Our kitten is trying to kill me. In May we adopted a sweet little kitten who had been abandoned by her mother. We named her Rachel (goes well with our dogs names, Kevin and Megan) and she was perfect. Tiny little thing that fit in the palm of your hand. She loved cuddles, kisses and adored us. Then, just like children, she grew up a bit and turned into a teenager. Voyages of the Artemis.

The Flippant Perfectionist: November 2010
http://flippantperfectionist.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Random ramblings of thoughts and opinions that just can't seem to stay put in my head. Monday, November 15, 2010. Not just a little bit, I loved it A LOT! That frog lived on my bed until, when I was 15, our new puppy decided to use it as a chew toy and it had to be thrown away as it was completely ruined. I was heartbroken. I've always remembered that Christmas very clearly because it was such a great present. Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Same concept for politicians. As they move up the food chain of ...
