Meandering Montanan: Jack's10th Birthday!
http://www.meanderingmontanan.blogspot.com/2008/06/jacks10th-birthday.html
Monday, June 30, 2008. Mom and I headed to St Marys Ohio for a family reunion on my Mom's side, then the next day to Petosky. MI to visit my brother and family. We were there for my nephew Jacks 10 th. Birthday. My brothers wife, Cheryl, made Jack breakfast in bed. He had bacon, sausage, scrabbled eggs and ice cream! Note the Big Ten pennants. I don't believe my brother recognizes Penn St yet for a reason! He also had two pies, chocolate and JuJu. Thanks Jack for a fun day! So yeah see you then!

Monday, November 26, 2007. This past week ago I had my first accumulating snow at my house, about 4-5 inches. It was a wet snow and stuck to everything. So I took a walk down to the river and sat on a rock for awhile to watch the sunset and to take some pictures. Devner and Colorado Springs Weekend. A little late getting a post out but thought I would show some pics of my birthday weekend to Denver Nov 2-5. On the way down, I had a good visit with Scott and Kelly and their boys as we went to Chillis.

Monday, June 30, 2008. Cooke City Lunch June 24th. Mom and I took a drive last Tuesday, 24th, to Cooke City for lunch at the Beartooth Cafe. It was a fun day and a great picture taking day. There was a ton of snow over the Pass. Even on the way down toward Cooke City, which is on the sunnier side, the snow usually ends right away. However, this year the snow lasted well down the other side. It was a fun day. 5 is the top of the pass parking lot which is not even open yet. July 1, 2008 at 5:58 PM.

Wednesday, February 27, 2008. This is Juno Beach in Palm Beach Gardens. I went to 3 or 4 beaches and this was the best. Very pretty water, not many people, free parking across the street with very clean rest rooms! It was so relaxing. I did a lot of reading here. Tuesday, February 26, 2008. Stay tuned for more pics to come and stories. Finally getting around to posting some pics from Florida. I went to West Palm Beach for 10 days to visit a friend that use to live in Billings. It was a great time...

Monday, April 30, 2007. Well, I am finally getting around to posting on my page. After two summers, I finally have a riding mower! It just arrived about 10 days ago. I mowed my front and side yards for the first time this past week and it was awesome! It only took 1hr and 5 min whereas last year it took from 2 to 3 hours with a push mower. It's very cool and even has a beverage holder on the right drivers side. I purchased it through Ace Hardware in Laurel, and by the way, they rock!

Monday, August 30, 2010. 170,000 miles and rising fast. HAL went over the 170,000 mile threshold on Friday August 20th just north of Traverse City, Michigan. It was a memorable trip with Heather.a ride that saw us pay $8 to visit a Michigan State Park for 5 minutes (never got out of the car because lightning was too bad) and took us straight through the heart of a very large and scary thunderstorm coming off of Lake Michigan. As always. here are some fun mileage facts:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Other ...

Monday, October 20, 2008. Unfortunately, this is the last balloon rally of the year. Mother nature was less than accommodating throughout the weekend, only allowing us to fly Friday night and perform a field of fire on Saturday night. I was busy flying Friday night, so I didn't get any pictures. However, my passenger from the local newspaper took a few photos. I also was interviewed by one of the Sioux City TV. Stations on Sunday morning. Check out the interview here. Getting ready for the field of fire.

Meandering Moodys
Quilts for Scotty and Ryan. Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Love, Loss, and a new meow. They say memories are golden. Well maybe that is true. I never wanted memories,. I only wanted you. A million times I needed you,. A million times I cried. If love alone could have saved you. You never would have died. In life I loved you dearly,. In death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place. No one could ever fill. If tears could build a stairway. And heartache make a lane,. I'd walk the path to heaven. Our l...

Cute & Crazy
January 15, 2014. The next couple of days are going to be pretty long. I am not going to get to much done around the house. Yesterday I did manage to start a new vinegar though, and I am pretty excited! I hope it does not take too long to brew. It is a vegetable vinegar. The idea behind it was vinegar to use in cooking. It is pretty much like a vegetable stock. I have onion, carrot, celery, cabbage and a few other odds and ends I found in my crisper. On a more interesting note:. January 13, 2014. 144 cir...
