Meat in a Box. One woman. One meat box. Every month. Skip to primary content. About Meat in a Box. Teriyaki chicken nori rolls. June 12, 2014. I’ve discovered that a really quick and lazy way to use up leftover salad ingredients is to make salad rolls. All you need is an assortment of fillings (e.g. spinach, rocket, shredded carrots, tuna, grains), something sauce-y (hummus works well) and a wrap option (lettuce leaves, rice paper rolls or nori are my favourite). 2 chicken breasts, skin off. Wait for the...

Meat in a Box. One woman. One meat box. Every month. Skip to primary content. About Meat in a Box. Introducing Meat Porter rib eye steak with chimichurri sauce. June 8, 2014. This week I learned that a fellow alumnus from my college at Cambridge had set up – you guessed it – an artisanal online butcher that delivers meat to your doorstep. Introducing new kid on the block: Meat Porter. Rib eye steak with chimichurri sauce. 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil. 1 tsp chilli flakes. 1 tbsp white wine vinegar.

I have been working with Tenderstem. With polenta and chorizo crumbs (for when you want to impress your date) and a more relaxed pizza for when you’ve been together a bit longer and just fancy a slobbing out in front of the telly. Finally I’ve wrapped them in prosciutto with a hollandaise-style dip, which would make a lovely starter – or even brunch the next day. Smoky Three Cheese Polenta with Sautéed Tenderstem, Chorizo Crumbs and Parsley. 1 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil. 50g smoked cheese, grated.

Culinary adventures of an ex-vegetarian. Asymp; Leave a comment. My new seasons resolution is to take more lunches to work: spending over twenty pounds a week on the same rotation of things from Pret or Eat just seems a bit silly, so armed with some new amazing animal lunchboxs, I’ve been doing my best. One of my fave things to do it to roast a chicken and use the leftovers in yummy lunches (I hate sandwiches! Reason why I love Le Creuset no 102 – pans become pie dishes. Moving on… and Sweet Potato Waffles. It has been an age since my last post, I am well aware. However, this is not without good reason. And in this instance that reason takes the unmistakable shape of a house. After five years of living in our beloved East London flat, we upped sticks to the sticks…. well, South East London. This is all, of course, before I get on to the plastering that needs doing, the bathrooms that look like a cross between a sauna and ship cabin (wood on the floors, walls and ceilings?

Cooking and (hopefully) Growing. The Life of Rowan. September 15, 2013. Rowan trees are everywhere. I didn’t know what they were until my mum pointed them out to me this year and now I can’t stop seeing them all over the place. This is what they look like:. When I was last at home I set to making some Rowan jelly, but you could use the berries in a jam with some other fruits or perhaps to infuse some vodka, like in this damson gin. A little video to show you just how simple: . Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Welcome to my world- everything louder than everything else! Sunday, February 23, 2014. Review: Watchmen (the film). It took me a while to get round to seeing this film- I'd missed it at the cinema and for some reason never felt like watching it at home. I'm not sure why.
