Mallory Jeane Ericson: Not all cornflakes are created equal
http://malloryjericson.blogspot.com/2013/02/not-all-cornflakes-are-created-equal.html
Monday, February 4, 2013. Not all cornflakes are created equal. Not all cornflakes are created equal. You'd think a cereal as simple as cornflakes would stay pretty consistent among brands. This morning as I am eating my recently purchased Great Value cornflakes I am wishing I had that big bag of Western Family cornflakes from Broulim's. Believe it or not, there is a difference! Oh well, I won't let it get me down! Here's to you cold cereal! And now for a piece of that peanut butter honey toast!

Mallory Jeane Ericson: May 2011
http://malloryjericson.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 29, 2011. Yesterday Katelyn and I saw "Les Miserables" at Capitol Theatre in Salt Lake City. For years I have wanted to see this musical and going yesterday was kind of like a dream come true. I remember listening to our tape of the (I think) 1985 recording as a little girl, but I didn't gain a true appreciation of this masterpiece until high school. Then after that the whole cast sings a rendition of 'Do You Hear the People Sing? And I want you to feel inspired too! Sunday, May 8, 2011.

Mallory Jeane Ericson: July 2011
http://malloryjericson.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 20, 2011. In September I will be starting my fifth semester and will be turning 21. Right now I feel like that is really old, but at the same time, I feel like all the possibilities of the world are mine! I can do anything! I will even be able to go on a mission if I want to. I guess my biggest focus of the moment is just going with a major. Right before my first semester:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). This is m.e. Life of a College Student. Something to live by. Mallory Jeane Ericson: March 2013
http://malloryjericson.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 24, 2013. The Moving Target Philosophy. Last semester when I was in Brother Hammond's religion class, he always said that "The Spirit likes a moving target." With this statement, he was trying to teach us that it is when we are moving that we will receive direction and inspiration from the Lord. It's when we are walking by faith. This is a concept I really grasped onto and now I just constantly tell myself to KEEP MOVING. And things are falling into place! But, life is good. Three weeks...

Mallory Jeane Ericson: June 2011
http://malloryjericson.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 26, 2011. One of my favorite parts of this past winter semester was watching BYU basketball. I looked forward to every game and tuned in to as many as I could through the internet, KSL radio, or the TV. I will always remember the night that BYU first beat San Diego. It was a Thursday night after church basketball games. Parker and I were watching online and Brooke and Mom and even Katelyn joined us. Jimmer hit shot after shot. I was pumped. We won and Jimmer had 43 points. Best Game. Ever.

Mallory Jeane Ericson: Pan Dulce
http://malloryjericson.blogspot.com/2013/03/pan-dulce.html
Thursday, March 7, 2013. Today for my international health class we had to bring a cultural dish to share with the class. I talked to my friend at work yesterday about some possible dishes I could do from Brazil that would be easy - cheese puffs or lime mousse. Perfect. Around 11:30 PM last night I realized that I didn't have tapioca flour for the cheese puffs. Usually when there is an ingredient that I am lacking, I don't worry about it too much! Like a ton of tamales it hit me . This is m.e. Something ...

Mallory Jeane Ericson: January 2012
http://malloryjericson.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 29, 2012. It has almost been a month since I started my winter adventure in Rexburg. And so far it has been really great! Now I look back on my extreme anxiety at the end of last semester and think, "Oh Mal, why were you worrying so much? 1 Return with Honor council. - I get to witness the Atonement in my peers lives. One hour a week witnessing changes in hearts and learning from others. 2 Holding a tarantula. I never thought in my life I would do such a thing! 5 Hearing L. Tom Perry&...

Mallory Jeane Ericson: Chocolate Covered Cinnamon Bears
http://malloryjericson.blogspot.com/2013/01/chocolate-covered-cinnamon-bears.html
Friday, January 25, 2013. Chocolate Covered Cinnamon Bears. In all my years as a student, I can never once recall rewarding myself for doing well on a test or in a class. My personal satisfaction of that "A" in the gradebook has always been good enough! And besides, a penny saved is a penny earned, right? Today I could take it no longer! I wanted those cinnamon bears, and bad. I was studying in the library for my test and had the idea! January 25, 2013 at 6:02 PM. January 25, 2013 at 6:03 PM. Subscribe t...
