At the Autumn Series Lunch we said farewell to hardworking racing committee member Roger Griffiths when he and Julie were presented with a stunning bunch of flowers and some Waterford Crystal glasses on behalf of the Cruiser Class as a thank you for their many years of hard work making the racing a success. We welcome our new racing chaps Aaron and Paul Goodman-Simpson and Phil Clandillon.

This equipment is intended to be used as a wet sander for the removal of antifouling and keying surface for repainting. 1 First construct a tarpaulin curtain around your boat by tying the CC tarpaulins to your stanchions. The Cruiser Class represents. The interests of cruising yachtsmen at the Medway Yacht Club, and organises the yacht racing at the Club. (The Sonata fleet has its own class association). Our activities are four fold:. We run a full programme of racing. All of our races are open events and attracting visiting yachtsmen as well as members from the other clubs on the river. We organise cruises-in-company and in-river fun days. Added to which we arrange a series of social events during the winter months.

Facilities exclusively for Cruiser Class members. The Cruiser Class has a large lock-up container for the storage of outboards. It is available only to Cruiser Class members for 10 pounds per annum. The Cruiser Class has a mast ladder that is suitable for most yachts in the CC. These ‘rope’ ladders fit into the mast track and are easy to use. Cradles To Rent

There are two cradles available for hire. They can be adjusted to take boats up to a maximum of 38 ft./ 11.5 m loa and draft of 2.5m. Cradles are owned by Cruiser Class and members have priority. Cost of hire is 160 in Winter (November to March), or short term Summer hire per month is 40 pounds minimum, payable in advance. Non Cruiser Class members pay membership fee plus entry fee in addition, ie currently 15 pounds. Please make arrangements with the Bosun to have a cradle erected for you.
