Friday, December 31, 2010. On the 12th Day of Christmas. On the 11th Day of Christmas. We ended up getting a bag of mini marshmellows and hot cocoa (which our family loves in the winter! I didn't get a picture of the orginal items that the family left on our doors step because it was gone the next morning, we used it all up, so I grabbed some out of our pantry for the picture. So Good! On the 10th Day of Christmas. We all snuggled in warm cozy blankets and watched some of those Christmas classic cartoons.

The Slade Family: One Year Checkup

For those of you who care, we went in for Brynlee's one year checkup today. Her stats are:. Weight - 21 lb 10 oz (upper 50th %). Height - 31 in (97th %). Head - 18 3/4 (97th %). She did really good this time. She usually is very shy with other people, but she did better. The shots were another story, but we made it. We finally switched carseats the other day and it was just in time (ours was rated until 30 inches). She's still rear facing, but her seat is like a fancy recliner.kind of ridiculous.

Sunday, August 29, 2010. I tried I think 3 or 4 times, I was already exhausted when I got into the water from only being on 3 hours of sleep, but hey a tried. For the rest of the summer I was itching to get out in the water and try it again. Next summer! Glen went out and tried knee boarding, and tubing with the kids.
