Back when we first decided that we were going to move to San Francisco I posted a picture of these exact houses on my Facebook page. This weekend I got to see them in person. Our buddy, Derek and his wife visited us for a few days. We had a great time with them eating some awesome food, exploring the Cal Academy, and wandering around Haight. So here's how it works! I was 497 out of about 1200. Not horrible. An 8x10 jute rug.

Brian comes to visit. Steve's cousin is one of our favorite people. We recently had the pleasure of having him visit. We had three days to spend with him and spend them we did. The city put on a pretty good show and we had luck on our side - beautiful weather, perfect timing for avoiding the crowds, etc. In that short amount of time we:. Meandered through the aquarium. Saw the seals at Pier 39. Got a free chocolate at Ghirardelli. Walked down Lombard Street. Had a burger fest at Grumpy's.

Since last we blogged. October has been BUSY. Most of our time is spent going to/from or actually being at work, but when we're left to our own devices, we do it up! Here are the bullet points. Our bikes were stolen. This was a sad surprise, but oh well. I celebrated a birthday. Steve came to my work with the most absurdly beautiful (and ginormous) bunch of flowers and then we walked to Lori's Diner for lunch (clam chowder bread bowl, fish and chips). Christmas and new years. We spent it in Utah with our families. We even met up with a few friends. It wound up being a lot of work to make the trip happen (lots of prepping and sooo many hours of driving), but it was nice to see everyone. I got really sick right after Christmas. and wound up with a new most embarrassing moment ever. For your enjoyment, I shall relay the (somewhat gross) details of it here. And as the train started slowing to a halt, there I stood. A weirdo with a bag of her own vomit...

Thanksgiving and a christmas party. We're celebrating two anniversaries this week. Today is our six month anniversary of moving to this place. And Sunday is our six year wedding anniversary.
