Megan: Phase One.....Complete!!
http://megangudde.blogspot.com/2008/05/phase-onecomplete.html
The door is narrow and the road is hard that lead to life that lasts forever." Matthew 7:13. Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Maddy modeling on the new concrete. By the way, she dressed herself :). The lighter area is the porch, and the dark area is the two new bedrooms and safe room. I couldn't get a good shot of all of it. As you can see, Matt has taken the siding off a portion of the house because, well. This is what a concrete truck will do to your yard. Nasty little ruts! May 22, 2008 at 2:42 PM. Angel Gabi...

Caden and Cameron: May 2008
http://cadenkonecny.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 28, 2008. We decided to go to California, and we had a lot of fun. We dropped Caden. Off at Paul's dad and step-mom's Friday night. We had to tear ourselves away, but we got out of there. Around 8:30 or so. We called non-stop, of course. He was fine! He started that new treatment Friday night, and it had an amazing affect on him. He doesn't cough anymore, even at night! Man, you can tell he got spoiled while he was there! He thought he needed a poptart. I am so glad he's feeling better!
Caden and Cameron: March Update
http://cadenkonecny.blogspot.com/2011/03/march-update.html
Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Things are going well, it's just been a while since I've updated. We are (and have been) in the midst of the "anniversaries" of Caden's hospital stay. I hate to think of them as anniversaries, can't there be another word? I've been debating about doing an update post for a while now, so I'll bite the bullet and get some things off my chest. I like to think that my family has grown a lot since those days and months 4 years ago. A lot has changed for us. A lot of good thing...Caden...

He got a kitchen, a working candy bear claw thingy, a bulldozer, an ATM, a Mega Bloks. Wagon, Mega Bloks. Blocks and clothes, and a Mega Bloks. Train and some food to go with the kitchen. He also got a toy car set that came with a toy drill and screwdriver set. The cars come apart into big pieces, and he knows exactly how to take them apart too! Christmas pic, and then Caden's.
Caden and Cameron: Caden's Story
http://cadenkonecny.blogspot.com/2008/03/cadens-story.html
Friday, March 7, 2008. Caden was born on November 22, 2006 at 6:31 pm. He weighed 9lbs 11.8 oz and was 21 1/4 inches long. Big baby boy! I just said no, and shrugged it off. Surely they would have found it by now, right? His surgery was scheduled for February 27th, 2007. We handed him off shortly after 7:00am. It all went downhill from there. March started out good. He was doing better and he was starting to breathe over the ventilator. They had lowered the vent peep (pressure) to a nice low leve...Unfor...
Caden and Cameron: July 2008
http://cadenkonecny.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Sarah (the therapist) came today, while I was at work. Paul called on my lunch break to inform me that on the next visit, Caden is going to graduate! I am so excited! I think that's the best birthday present I've gotten so far. Awww. I think I'm going to go home and be there for the "graduation." That's so cute! I wonder if he gets a little hat. Probably not, but it'd be cute! I will try to remember to take pictures, I've been really bad about that lately. Links to this post.
Caden and Cameron: August 2008
http://cadenkonecny.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 28, 2008. Bubble Mowers and Bunk Beds. We were out and about this weekend, looking for a solution to the soon-to-be bed problem in our house. We were thinking about maybe doing bunk beds for the boys, and Caden. Can just use the bottom bunk for a couple of years until the new baby is ready to move into his room. Well, we still haven't completely decided, but we think we are going to build Caden. And decent woodworkers, so I think we can get it done. Links to this post. I thought it was j...
Caden and Cameron: April 2008
http://cadenkonecny.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 23, 2008. I spoke too soon. Caden's kinda sick. Ok, he's sick. He's got this cough (that he gave to me) and if he feels like what I have felt like, I understand why he's been crabby. Poor guy. can't he get a rest? I thought that with the warmer weather, he would start having longer periods of "health.". When she first started coming, (May 14th, 2007) our goals for Caden were to hold his head up, eat by mouth, and roll over. He couldn't do ANY of that. Now look at him! Before I started my...
Caden and Cameron: Caden's Annual Checkup
http://cadenkonecny.blogspot.com/2010/10/cadens-annual-checkup.html
Wednesday, October 27, 2010. We went this morning to Caden's checkup. Overall, it is GREAT news! I didn't want to spring the appointment on him, and he loves going to the Dr (weird, right? So I told him on the way home last night that we were going to the Dr in the morning. He told me he didn't have any ickies, so he didn't need to go. Smart kid! Overall, Caden's heart is doing amazing! There is no narrowing, no calcification, and the gradient across the homograph is very low (which is what they want).
Caden and Cameron: June 2008
http://cadenkonecny.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 26, 2008. Right when you start to not think about it so much. bam! He's actually doing a lot better with it. He does it without really thinking anymore. It used to be that you'd hold his hand and pull him so that he'd walk. Now, you hold one hand, and he's pulling you, telling you where he wants to go! I couldn't believe my eyes! Links to this post. Thursday, June 19, 2008. If they are just going to come whenever they want? Heehee. So, the second (third) living area should be completed...
Caden and Cameron: March 2008
http://cadenkonecny.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 25, 2008. Last weekend, Caden took his first steps. It was great to see. He isn't flat out walking or anything, but he's doing it! Sometimes he just has to be in the right mood, but it's a step in the right direction. lol. I'm a dork. Links to this post. Friday, March 7, 2008. If we would have gotten there in 20 minutes, we would have been waiting around feeling even more helpless than ever. It's funny the things that we choose to remember. Why that? My mom put the mirror up, and I saw how...
