Thursday, February 28, 2013. Today, in a couple of hours, we're going down to the doctor's office to have an ultrasound and see if we can see what sex little Poppy is. I'm 19 weeks, and I have my fingers crossed that Poppy won't be shy. It's going to be odd not to have to rely on a nickname and be able to call the baby by its name. We will see how it goes. Since moving to our new home in March 2011, we've gone from one animal (our bearded dragon Loki) to seven! I love animals and love caring for them and watching them grow. Is our bearded dragon. Thursday, January 17, 2013. Genetic and Other Testing. My latest ultrasound, at 12 weeks 3 days, was at a fetal diagnostic center in a nearby city. The ultrasound itself was pretty neat, although it took longer than my first one due to more measurements needed and the fact that the wiggly baby was not cooperating for the ultrasound technician at all.
